Foreign bands are sometimes better than what we have in America. They are a nice Irish band and I love their instrumental song "Rebel Heart" and their song "Breathless." They're a little bit boring at times but still a good band. I agree with Polina concering the way they dress.

What is nice about them is the Irish sound to most of their music, the fact that they have good voices and also that the girls don't feel they have to dress like prostitutes to get noticed. Yes, they are a good looking and a good sounding band. Their talent rises them about the mainstream voice-enhanced crap that is so much in evidence these days.

With the sound turned down, 4 stars (minus one for Jim). With the sound turned up, 2 stars. I've also heard them getting rootsy and then they're pretty good. What a pity they didn't go down this route instead of going into the vapid world of sh*te pop.

I really liked that song Breathless when it came out. It was cool! Foreigners are kinda interesting, right?

Their music is not pleasing to me at all. Their song lyrics are always incredibly stupid. Lest not forget the lead singer sounds raspy and semi constipated. I thought the song I never loved you anyway was really annoying. Despite the good drums, This band really, really, really sucks and swallows.

Their pop stuff is bland and trite in the extreme, especially their Fleetwood Mac cover. However, they are talented musicians and come over really well when playing authentic Celtic stuff. Ive heard them play with the Chieftans and then they're very good. It also helps that the girls are all babes.

The only reason they get 5 stars from anybody else is because the chicks are hot. Not the music. Why are they in the indie rock section anyway?

In this day in age a group that is talented, write, sing and play their instuments gets 5 stars!

This is refreshing music in a world of Britney Spears, Shikira, any number of "boy" and "girl" bands and the other trashy, trampy, whiney crap out there. The Corrs allow me to still listen to "pop" music. The Celtic undertones in the music are a real bonus - gives them a unique sound.

I'm a classic rock listener but I have Irish in me so I couldn't slam them too hard, but their music isn't all that bad anyway. I especially like the song they did with Bono "When Stars Go Blue".

i have a seep-seated hatred for this group, due in part to my neighbors kids blasting their redundant drival day in and day out.

Yuck!!! With one song they're this high on the list? Give me a break. Tell them to go get some more plastic surgery.

The Corrs has been around for ten years and here in my country (here in Asia), they've been REALLY popular especially with their "Talk On Corners" album. Their Celtic touch to pop music is definitely outstanding to the ear and there's just a calming effect to Andrea Corrs' vocals that makes it magical. I love the violin, and the integration of their tunes to the genuine Irish melodies.

These guys are up-and-coming in the USA. I first heard their music a few years ago, when they performed on Saturday Night Live. I was blown away! Their songs are catchy, and I was especially impressed by their ability to play Irish folk instruments EXTREMELY well. Their voices blend beautifully, and their songs are great. Their new album is wonderful as well -- almost every song is absolutely captivating. I hope more people discover this great group soon.

I love most of their music and appreciate them for a band who can sing and play instruments and have not forgotten their irish roots (like Westlife, for example) My only qualm is that Jim Corr, the writer of all their songs, seems to get forgotten and feels the need to hide behind sunglasses or really big keyboards. Hey Jim, just cos you're uglier than your sisters, that shouldn't mean you have to sit at the back.

I've only recently discovered The Corrs after hearing their first North American hit "Breathless" on the radio. If this song is any indication of the calibre of their music then they've just snagged a new fan. I sincerely wish them the best and hope that they get the success they deserve in North America as I hear they are already big stars back home in the UK. It also doesn't hurt that the three lady members happen to be drop dead gorgeous!

I love the Corrs - although they do tend to sing about love and other soppy stuff a bit too much, Andrea has a beautiful voice, and the combination of violin, tin whistle etc... makes for some very mellow songs. There aren't many of their songs I actually dislike. Oh, and the girls are very attractive indeed....

The Corrs are another band who have made a great comeback especially with the single 'runaway'. The new album 'in Blue' Is really popular and they've done a good job.

The way The Coors uses both Irish volk music & modern pop in their music is just amazing! "Unplugged" is an album everybody should have, including great singles like "Radio", "Runaway" & "What Can I Do"! By the way: The Corrs played all these three songs at the Nobel Peace Prize Concert '99! And before I leave you: You're fighting about who out of Spears & Aguillera that is most beautiful - forget it, The Corrs has the most beautiful ladies! :o)
