Is this the greatest movie ever made?!?! No, honestly it isn't. But it is ridiculously funny. If you are looking for highbrow humor, you are not going to find it here. If you are looking for something that requires little or no thought, this is your movie. What other movie features a monkey guarding drugs and grandmothers drinking someone's pot? You are not going to get that anywhere else. The movie is basically about a guy living with his grandma and her roommates, smoking pot, and playing video games. The movie really does not have too much of a plot until it sneaks up on you at the end. Do you like Nick Swardson? I freaking LOVE Nick Swardson and he is in this movie. So if you like him, you should see this. If you don't like him, you should still see this and you will like him. This movie is AWESOME and full of great quotes, so don't miss it.

This is a great movie for non-stop laughs after a hard day's work. So many things are used to make laughs in this movie. It's slap stick happy and has a little bit of everything for everybody. It's sure to make you laugh when you think about the movie during a stressful day. It will also bring a smile to your face. I like Grandma's Boy so much, I'm buying it for my brother's birthday too. It makes a great gift. I've watched it about six times already! It's a must see and will bring a smile to your face. I just have to mention "monkeey!"

Synopsis: Alex (played by Allen Covert) is a cannabis-loving video game tester in his mid-30s who unexpectedly finds himself homeless after his roommate spent their rent money on prostitutes. After attending a family function, his grandmother (played by Doris Roberts) invites him to stay with her and her roommates: the sexually provocative Grace (Shirley Jones) and the over-medicated Bea (Shirley Knight). Alex works at Brainasium, where he acts as a mentor and hero for his subordinates (who include Nick Swardson as Jeff and Jonah Hill as Barry), a go-to-guy and possible love interest for his superior Samantha (Linda Cardellini), and as an antagonist to video game designer J.P. (Joel David Moore). How will everyone react when they find out he lives with his grandmother? Peter Dante appears as Dante the Cannabis supplier while Kevin Nealon appears as Mr. Cheezle, the nu-age hippie head of Brainasium. Now, anyone who's checking this movie out to see an Oscar-worthy performance is... Read more

This is the funniest movie i think I have ever seen. Just remembering Shirley Jones, as Mrs partridge and Doris Roberts as Raymonds mother and then seeing them stoned is hillarious. And Dante makes this movie laugh out loud funny

This will surely go down as a cult classic!!! I have seen it so many times I cant count. Some of those 1 star raters are retarded and dont know good comedy when they see it. Baby want MILK!!! So to make a long story short, We who love this movie may be burnouts, but if you dont find a monkey driving a jeep funny, I feel sorry for you. Later turd nuggets!!

This movie is hilarious from start to finish. Yes there are some corny parts, well a lot of corny parts but that's okay, Grandma's Boy will keep you laughing out loud. Older and younger video gamers alike will relate to the story of a generation-X 'over the hill' slacker who is a game designer who has to move in with his Grandma while competing with the younger generation at his job.

Possibly one of the worst movies I have ever seen. A blatant rip-off of "The 40 Year Old Virgin".

Whoever does not like this movie does not have a sense of humour! This is one of the best comedies i seen in a long time. I would recommend this movie to people if they dont find the drug use offensive.

This movie was definately a huge waste of money and time. I was really hoping this movie would be a cool comedy without so much filth...but of course it turned out to be boring and totally trashy. I do not recommend it.

When I first saw the commercials for this movie it looked like an Adam Sandler movie without Adam Sandler. Mainly because it features almost everyone that has ever been in a Sandler movie. But the movie is pretty funny and the characters do a good enough job without him.
