OutKast is one of the hands down best hip-hop groups of our time. From ATliens to The Love Below/Speakerboxx, this group's creativity and musical abilities have been amusing ears for quite some time and will continue to for generations to come. Best song? Hey Ya!

Now this is the South! Although they seem a little weird, they are the truth on the mic. They are good as a group and good on their own. Despite their differences they have a true harmony and I will never forget Aquemini

decades ago  rap/hip hop was fresh and original, but since the big names decided to call it has largely degenerated into abysmal cr@p with most MCs sounding like they're too out of it to even rap coherently. Outkast are the sole exception, brininging some much needed inventiveness back into this tired genre that's way  past its sell by date.

Outkast represent a dying breed of great Hip Hop artists. They are one of the few who still make songs that they feel, not simply ones that they think will sell records. Each one of their albums is just that, an album. Its not a couple of clubs songs engineered by super-producers to move units. What they create is a true expression of themselves in every sense. They're an amazing group because their individual personalities challenges each other to be better artists. Anyone who is a fan of music (NOT THE CRAP FORCE FED TO YOU OVER THE RADIO OR MTV) can recognize their creativity and mind expansive approach to music. Their songs mix soul, funk, drum n bass, rap, gosphel, jazz, r & b, and rock elements into new and innovative sounds that can only be described as Outkast. They are a testimate to the expanding possiblities of hip hop as an artform, and in my opinion will go down in history as some of the most important musicians to every lay vocals to rhytem. Plus their live shows are am... Read more

HORRIBLE stuff, they are popular because the masses are generally, artistically stupid as well as academically, almost as bad as rap or hip hop, look at the people that listen to cra* like this, the way they walk, talk, their vocabulary, etc, basically low intelligence, low class human beings,a waste of sperm as I like to think.

all right band. although they are stronger together, as evidenced by Stankonia vs Speaker boxx/Love below. are they oringinal? uh, maybe. although i think this sort of sub-genre rap was done better(and still is) by bands like A Tribe Called Quest and De La Soul. Outkast albums are good, but there are a lot of fillers and junk tracks you have to go through to get to good songs.

I think these cats are horrible, especially what they be wearing. They have no lyrics and no beats, plus they some country ass rappers. Rap is New York, Nas, Mobb Deep, DMX, L.O.X., LL Cool J, etc..Nuff Said!

One of the best duo's Andre 3000 convinced Prince he should still be making music after honoring him is much of his music (Toilet Tisha sounds like striaght old skool Prince). They're not the same as the great old skool duo's (BDP & Eric B. & Rakim), but the game has changed so much it's hard to compare them. One of the Greatest Duo's & the best of the last ten years. They have done a lot to strecth the boundaries of Hip Hop.

A rap/hip-hop group that is fun, clever, unique, smart with a mix of different musical influences in their music makes them worth listening too. Their grammy wins were well deserved.

I love Outkast they have a full, well produced sound, great unpredictable lyrics and a p-funk like image. They are by far the best live hip hop and did an amazing job on SNL.

OutKast is great! They are very unique in their lyrics, videos, and wardrobe. I think it's great that they are being original and aren't always dressing like thugs...sometimes I get so tired of pants that come down to one's knees. No one wants to see their underwear...they don't have to dress like that to be noticed and it makes them more entertaining.
