I have actually always liked Conan over Jay Leno and I am glad that he is taking over now. Although I don't watch that much late night television anymore, now that he is not on as late, I may be watching more of Conan. He keeps it entertaining and fun.

Obviously Johnny carson fans are going to hate it. But it's good zany humor for when I am up too late or under the influence.

Conan O'Brien is of course hilarious. I think he is unstoppably funny, but this is also a hindrance because in interviews he can't help himself. He either takes over the interview and talks about himself or lobs the guest easy questions.

He's OK if you like 7th grade humor.  I'm sure he'd be funny if he could get over the fart jokes.  I hear he's an intelligent guy, you'd never guess that from watching his show.

When he started on Late Night he was inexperienced in front of the camera and it showed. It was sometimes painful to watch, probably as painful as it was for NBC to see his ratings. I remember seeing the local ratings in New York at one point and O'Brien was beat out by a local station running some 50's science fiction movie. Once he relaxed in front of the camera and started to make the show his rather than the show Letterman used to host, he found his own audience and he skyrocketed. Probably the most impressive turn around in television.Sometimes his humor is a little too far out there for me, but I do like the fact that he is an equal opprotunity offender. I also have to love the fact that what started as a joke on his show actually led to the re-release of "Dirty Dancing".

Conan comes closer to Johnny Carson than any other talk show host ever!  He's self-effacing and lets his guests shine.  Jay Leno is all about himself and Letterman is very pompous and just not funny anymore.  Conan has so many hilarious skits, such as the Masturbating Bear, Quackers, Vomiting Kermit, Abe Vigoda and his best, Triumph the Insult Comic Dog.  He can even turn a simple interview with an audience member into a major part of his show.  Remember Finland???Conan's show is just so much fun to watch and I can't imagine anyone not enjoying it!For all you Letterman fans, at least Conan talks about his kids like he loves them, unlike Mr. Letterman.  I have no respect for a man who acts embarrassed by his own child.

I think Conan is a comic genius. He was a writer for two hilarious shows(SNL and The Simpsons) when they used to be funny. He never fails to crack me up. He has no shame and I love his self-depreciating humor. It just makes him that more lovable to me that he doesn't take himself seriously and doesn't care if he looks like a dork. That's the beauty of Conan. He's the King of Late Night from my point of view. Leno can be a jerk to his guest and Letterman doesn't really make me laugh. You rock Conan!

Conan is too frequently an over-the-top clown for me to enjoy his show. He tries way too hard to get laughs and is often just silly rather than humorous. Too bad, since he's obviously intelligent (a Harvard grad, if I recall correctly), but he irritates me like the class clowns did in high school when he's doing that schtick.

The best thing about Conan is that there is a civil war guy who looks like him.

Conan love him or hat hime he is an original in a stale genre. He is funny, quirky, self depricating and always keeps up with the guests. It has already been reported he has Leno's slot in a few years. I am glad because Conan is not a kiss ass like Leno and he doesn't mail it in every night like Letterman does. P.S. Triumph is the funniest puppet ever.

This guy is very complicated to rate. For the last so-many-years, I've been saying that he's learning and he'll eventually be up there with Leno & Letterman. But it seems he's going at a rate of 1 MPH. He's likable and funny but his delivery is always so jovial that it loses it's impact. Compare him to Chris Rock that has the look and attitude to deliver the jokes far from cheerful. I think Conan needs a more sincere cynical attitude. Clearly something that he will never do or even have the ability to do. With the right guest he can be great but that doesn't happen often. With the wrong guest it's a little uncomfortable. I still think he will take Leno's or Letterman's seat at some point.

Conan is AWFUL compared to Leno!! THere is NO WAY he could replace Leno's great delivery of jokes and humor!! IT IS PRACTICALLY CRIMINAL TO THINK THAT CONAN COULD REPLACE LENO!! LENO SHOULD STAY BECAUSE EVEN LETTERMAN WILL KEEP GOING AND HE'S OLDER THAN LENO!!

The best late night talk show host and im glad hes replacing jay leno, he uses his off the wall comedy and hilarious skit to woo audiences. Most off all he seems the most real and down to earth in his own way.

Would you rather see Letterman do Will It Float(with comedic take on the thing whatsoever) or Conan lead his audience in chanting on how he's going to hell?

Quite possibly the funniest person on TV at the moment, and by far the funniest in late night. Conan's sense of humor and his perpetual ridicule of various people (including his own audience) make his show drop dead funny at times. The sketches are usually so ridiculously stupid you can't help but laugh. Conan probably appeals to a younger crowd than other hosts, but nothing too severe. Conan is truly Must See TV!

One thing that I like about Conan is that he'll freely admit if a joke bombs, which turns out to be funny in itself. I love most of the sketches on this show and I think he gives the funniest interviews in late night.

Yes, his monologues are painful at times, but his skits are great! Where else can Frankenstien waste a minute of your time? What other late night host would take two celebrities and see what happened if they mated?? Conan is simply the best in late night.

Funny, gives his all on every show, dont know if you can say that about leno or letterman, they seem to give up on some shows and all their bits have nothing to do with their humor HEADLINES JAY-WALKING and Letterman just repeats a joke about 849,479,983 times.

Conan is funny. Not every show is great but he gives an effort and is the funniest thing in late night. Not since Lettermans NBC years has anything been this funny. If conan is funny with a smaller budget what is the problem with letterman, leno and their endless supply of writers? They are usually unwatchable. Got an gum? and hey did you hear my new OJ joke? Terrible.
