What's with the differentHeadlight Door from the previous models? This one's very squared unlike the Ford 2009 F350 where the Headlights were like Xenon packed. Still, the 2010 passes by a flying mark to my taste.

Problems with valves. Big problem with EGR. No co-operation from Ford. Truck is right now the prettiest planter in town!!! And will be until we win the lottery!! Then it's gone to the next sucker! Never will we buy another Ford! A real P.O.S.!!

Purchased a 2008 F350 after aprox 23000 miles engine blew. Rod went through block. Ford refuses to warranty claiming excessive engine sludge in crankcase. $49,000 vehicle totally worthless.

Unless you work in construction or own a horse farm, this is excessive to say the least.

What a great vehicle for out in the country. I don't know how practical it would be in a city.

Another vehicle that is absolutely great if you need a heavy duty truck, but that many people drive for no good reason.

I see way too many of these things clogging up the roads in San Francisco. Maybe they're handy in the country, but these things are so outrageously large that they usually end up clogging up intersections or taking two parking spots in the city.

Just to have one no, they are bulky gas hogs. However this is a popular truck with people who show horses because you can get a comfortable classy interior and have plenty of power for hauling. And though most Fords are not reliable, their pick ups do pretty well.

99 F-350 diesel with 190000k on it and it still runs and looks great. I have had the high pressure oil pump o-rings replaced twice but I do tow a large living quarters horse trailer with this truck. Replaced the water pump at 95k, other than that this truck has been awesome. No doubt this truck will go 200k plus with no major repairs. our 2002 450 has had rear end issues since 18k, 5 times in the shop still not fixed. At 90k at feel that it is ready to implode! Other than that it has been solid. I'll still buy Ford.

I have a 2000 F350 7.3L diesel crew cab with SRW. The truck is a dream, wonderful to drive and was the love of my life. However, for a vehicle to meet my standards it should not have mechanical problems early in its life nor often. I did not tow any trailers and only hauled a 3000lbs cabover camper for a total of about 2000 miles when my torque converter failed and took out the transmission and the transmission cooler as well. There were only about 45000 miles on the vehicle. The manual recommends you change tranmission fluid every 40000 miles, so my tranny barely lasted one transmission fluid change. Obviously this is faulty design or parts. Since I did not spend an extra $2000 - $4000 to purchase on extended warranty, I had to pay the $5000 it cost to repair all the damage. The mistake I made was having Ford do the repair (or install the new tranny) because the pump failed in less than a year so I had to have them fix this (while I was stranded with the P.O.S. out of state no l... I drive a 2000 F 350 Superduty XL dually. I have had nothing but great experience with this truck. It's got almost 500,000 miles on it now and still runs like a top. It had 300,000 when I got it. Oil changes, tuneups, and tires and that's all it's ever needed. It's big and roomy - the best body style Ford trucks have had in a long time. They look tough and are built tough. The interior on this truck is standard. Rubber floor and vinyl bench seat. But just for standard interior the truck is very comfortable and the ride is comparible to my wife's Buick. This truck has been through alot - before I owned it and after I got it too and still is very dependable. I would definately got back to Ford for another truck - if this one ever wears out.

what a piece of crap! Tranney out at 60000mi ,repair 3000.00, thenthe rearend blew.Air cond. went out,Idler pulley repaced at 32000mi and then again at 50000mi.Front suspension always loosening up.Leather went to crap even though cond. religously every 3 months and on and on. Finally traded it off at 65000mi.Needless to say i could understand why the trucks value had dropped like a rock. And i babied this truck it never saw 4wheel drive and had all services done when sched and most done before required. To bad i was always a loyal ford guy bu not anymore

I have a 2004 F350 6.0L diesel that is the biggest piece of c%^p. This truck has left me stranded about 4 times now. Oil pump failed, numerous sensors, rear main seal, and computer problems. Its always a hassle with Ford and there warranty. The latest incident is when the turbo hose blew on vacation this Christmas. We needed to have a mobile mechanic come out to replace the hose since we were towing a trailer and could not tow the truck to a dealer for repair. After the repair I sent Ford the receipt for the repair for reimbursement since this failed item was under warranty. They denied the claim since the service was not done by their dealership. This is not my first Ford but its my LAST FORD product.

My parents are stranded in NC on their way to TX to visit us. Their new F-350 6.0 L truck just broke down *again* last week. At 800 miles it broke down with the oil in the gas problem and they waited for a week to get the truck fixed. Now at 2500 miles, it started the not running at stoplight problem and eventually stopped working again and is once again at the shop. It *again* has the oil in the gas problem! The Dealer doesn't know how to fix the problem and says Ford doesn't either. They have spoken to some customer rep on a hotline and that has been no help. The Tech rep for the region cannot be reached. The dealer believes all the injectors need to be replaced and after reviewing various technician reports on the internet I agree. However, FORD won't let them! Its one at a time and so what if the customer is inconvenienced.

Looks good but rides horrible and not as nice interior as chevy. In 2001 chevy will also have higher payload and more powerful gas and diesel engines.
