I love this truck. It looks great and it's built Ford tough. I'm at 90,000 miles and have never had anything go wrong with mine.

I own a 2005 F-250 Super Duty with a V10, the end rear has been repaired 2 times and is now going back to the dealer for the same problems. The first to times the limited slip would not engage, now after the second repair it won't disengage. It drags one wheel or the other on every shape turn.Neither Ford or the dealer can seem to get it adjusted properly.

Mine is a '95.  351 4wd extended cab long bed.  It flips 400,000 tomorrow.  Neither leaks nor burns any oil.  That's all I have to say about that.

i own 2 f250's my first is a 97' light duty xlt xtracab and my second is a 05' super duty crewcab diesel. ok i must say when i bought my 97' wow no problems at all and till today w/ 1,3500,000 its still runs great like new ! but now on the other hand my new 05 diesel wow since day one i bought it i had problems ! front steering area is the biggest and yes ford dealership on Kauai sucks big time, very terrible service department. now i noticed my back axle sits more to the right say like around 1 to 2 inches to the right...what gives ? my truck shimmies / fishtails at 50/55 mph with also a slight pull i know it ain't my alignment cause i had that checked out < so i think... i love my fords but i cannot say i can recommend these trucks to anyone else. < i aint going to chevys so dodge maybe my next bet but only time will tell. very dissapointed ford pwner !

At a 100.000 miles, although I love my truck (always been a Ford man)I'm so frustrated with this truck, had the engine rebuilt at 99.500. miles, had turbo, egr, injectors (6), trouble, the only thing I can say on Ford's defense, is they have fixed and repiared, (even paid for loaner car) every thing that has ever gone wrong with this truck. So make you own conclusion, i have mine.

I Bought a new 2003 F250 power stroke 6.0 diesel lariet extended cab short bed with 4 wheel drive in April of 2003. Bad mistake! At 250 miles engine developed serious missfire which turned out to be broken rocker arms on two cylinders. Two weeks at dealer before it was fixed. At 15,000 miles the engine developed a fuel leak. At 20,000 miles (this past December 2006) while at a Ford dealer for oil change etc dealer informed me that the truck would'nt start! After 6 weeks the dealer finally returned the truck to me as fixed. It was not! Now it has no power and a overheating problem when pulling a horse trailer. By the way don't count on ford regional or national customer service to help you. Ford Sucks.

My friend and I both own 2005 F250 Super Duties. His the 5.4, mine the 6.0 Diesel. the problem we both have is with the Limited Slip Differential. All it takes is 20 lb-ft of torque differential to break free the clutch pack. Once this happens, you have no longer have drive to the wheel with traction. Hense your four wheel drive truck is stuck...in snow, mud, hell wet grass. So after $60,000.00 CDN, $275.00 for a Limited Slip, all you have is maybe if your lucky a one wheel drive while in four wheel drive. And no fix from Ford.

My Triton blew a spark plug out of the head at 50,000 miles and left me stranded in the middle of nowhere with a boat on the back. This is an obvious factory defect. 3,000 dollars later I no longer trust this truck. Ford knew about this problem and continued to sell these engines because the majority of the plugs blowing out are out of warranty and therefore not their problem. 6.0 diesel?? I dont THINK so! That's an even bigger pile of JUNK. Ford has FINALLY admitted there is a problem by redesigning the heads on the triton ond instituting a massive recall on the '04 and '05 6.0 diesels. They lost a loyal Ford customer here, I will never buy another Ford, I will do my best to alert everyone I know that Ford builds JUNK.

Own a 2000 Ext Cab V-10 4X4... This truck pulls a 12,000lb 5th Wheel camper and when it's not doing that, it pulls a 9,000lb boat. I also drive the truck to work every day, I wouldn't trade it for anything.

my f250 is a 2000 model it has been a very good truck. We bought it to help build our house, you know, carrying material and tow a dump trailer. Speecking of the trailer before I knew what the trailer capasity was I pull five yards of graval for the driveway. I thought not to bad until I cleared the scales and found out the trailer was carrying ten thousand pounds (didn,t do that to many times). The point is it pulled the load not only pull but pulled it up the hills that are on the way to my house. The only problem I have had with the truck was, the crank shaft timing sensor when bad. My truck now has over 80,000 miles and I am still very glade I bought the truck.

My 2003 F250 is big, powerful and beautiful.I get compliments on it every day I drive it. Even got a few friends to give up their Chevy,GMC and Dodges' for the best built truck ever. My family has always been FORD. You just can't mess with the best.

Bought a new 6.0 leaking powerstroke diesel and was told theres nothing they could do for the leak. I went and traded it for a new 3/4 Ram with a Cummins HO and it blows the ford away in speed and in towing ability.

I like this truck test drove one and liked it. I'm a Dodge man but it came down to either this or the Dodge 2500. I bought the Dodge Because of its more powerful Cummins HO. But I give props to Ford for leaving this Truck look like a truck and The powerstroke is a great diesel too. Theres no comparison between these two trucks and the GM series. At least the Fords and Dodges can clear the Speed bumps on the parking lots without bottoming out. I saw a new Z-71 and I thought it looked like a lowrider.

I have had nothing but trouble with my 1999 F-250 XLT. It has been in for SEVEN repairs all related to the pistons. Starting in January 2000 through today, SEVEN repairs. Most recently, a $2,000.00 valve replacement after a valve CRACKED. I use this truck for personal driving: it has NEVER towed a thing. No has it had anything larger than a lawn mower in the truck bed. I keep speaking with Ford, but they keep telling me nobody else has reported such problems.

2002 F-250 SuperDuty, Crewcab, Powerstroke, 4X4, Long box. This truck is a monster! I wouldn't have any other. Back in '99 I wanted one but bowed to family pressure and got a GMC Suburban. When it crapped out (after only 2 1/2 years and 45,000 miles) I went back and got what I originally wanted. In 8 months I've put on 20,000 miles and haven't had a single problem. The ride is great. I get 15-18 MPG. The only fault I can find is the turning radius....in a small crowded parking lot its a real pain in the ass. I can't understand why 50% of those giving their opinion rate as terrible. I did notice that none of them left a comment! Adios

Love the truck! Looks great, tons of power, and really dependable. Had to take the V10-good power, less noise, and cheaper than the diesel. I get about 12 or 13, which is better than expected. This is not a truck for Sissies.

Man it's hard to beat a Ford - Chevy might be the best according to the media but Ford still is the leader according to the buyers. I'll take my rock in the back of my F-350HD. The People RULE!

1999 F-250 Super Duty. Beautiful truck, comfortable, smooth, rides like a nice car. Triton V-8 is powerful, but the V-10 or V-8 diesel is the choice for those who need that much, although it should not be necessary. Reliable and strong workhorse. Beautiful truck.
