I love the store B.DALTON because they have good books and other enjoyable things for kids and even guardians.

I shop at a local B. Dalton store in my town and I love it. They have a great selection and are the only place I was able to find a series of books that I have been reading for a long time. If they don't have what I want in stock they are great about ordering whatever I need.

As good as you can expect from a bookstore that not only is small, but also is usually only placed in a mall or airport. The selection is good for browsing if you're bored but not much else.

For a small book store, B-Dalton is good for the selection it carries, and if they don't have it they can try to order for it you. They have a nice selection up front of discounted books. The atmosphere is modern, cool yet relaxing and inviting. The sales clerk are friendly and helpful. However some know more about books than others.

This is a chain of small mall bookstores that is owned by Barnes & Noble, and it basically is good for what it is. However, more full-size B&N stores have been opening in malls lately, so this chain may be on the way out.

These are small mall stores and they aren't supposed to carry every book title known to man, but a little bit of a large variety. They can order anything that a Barnes and Noble can. Very helpful and knowledgable salespeople that don't ignore you like in the big chains.

My least favorite bookstore. The stores are too small and the book selection sucks! Also, too few employees to help you.

BDalton's has a great environment. It is a small and cozy store and the salespeople have always been polite and knowledgeable. It is family friendly and my kids love going there. The big chains don't have the same atmosphere and their employees spend their time huddling behind the many counters through the store.

I never go here anymore. The place is ordinary and boring. Once I was spoken to rather rudely by a salesperson because I was not in the right line or something. But the main thing is that their selection of books -- not anywhere near enough variety. This place is VERY "chain-like." Even their window displays are boring. It used to be a favorite place years ago when they sold computer software and supplies downstairs. One other favorite thing was also years ago when they used to have this fascinating top floor with a bunch of unusual books.

I used to enjoy B. Dalton when I was little, before the emergence of the big chains. But now that you have Borders and Barnes and Noble (which bought B. Dalton a while back), why - if given the choice - would you ever go back to B. Dalton? The environment is sterile and boring, the selection isn't good, and the salespeople generally don't know anything about books.
