It was better than I thought it would be. I still wasn't too terribly sold with the way the AI reacted. I think they were too humanized.

Anything with Azimov residue can't be bad. It was surprisingly good.

I thought Will Smith was good in this, and the movie itself was a little better than average. would have liked to see a huge battle scene between the military and the robots, though. 3 and a half stars for cool special effects and a plot that mildly captured my interest.

My expectations were not huge on this one but I was suprised. The story was good and kept you interested. Will does a nice job as does the supporting cast and the effect are great. Put all of that together and you have a great movie. Good family film all be it some what violent, minimal nudity and no harsh language.

Wasn't terrible, but it wasn't very good either. Certainly the concept wasn't very original. Will Smith basically plays the same role in every film I've ever seen him in (with the exception of "Ali" where he played Will Smith imitating Ali). If you like that cocky, brash protagonist, you probably like Smith. Me, I find his persona tiresome, and unfunny. Nothing else about the movie really engaged me either. Frankly, I would have been more entertained by one of the lesser episodes of the old "Outer Limits." Come to think of it, this was one of the lesser episodes of the old "Outer Limits"...

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Will Smith is just a poor actor.

I expected alot more out of this film.

This movie is incredibly pointless. Don't watch it. It's degrading to know that Will Smith had to agree to do this.

Wasted idea. Could have been so much better. Bad ending to a wasted efort.

Around this particular time of the year cinema audiences shouldn't expect nothing more gracing their multi-plexes concerning popcorn movies and I confess as a member of the ticket buying public I've leanrt to just accept these movies for what they are. Will Smith made the best of his paranoid Detective character - Del Spooner. Bridget Moynahan however was too tepid and as Dr Susan Calvin lacked experience to show realisitc emtion on screen. I, Robot is noticeably a special effects movie set in the future, but there are certain issues raised in this film that is an on-going persistent taboo, noticeably prejudice. Good popcorn movie.

I wasn't going into this film expecting much, but I, Robot was a lot better than I expected it to be. Despite the premise, the film still managed to remain at least remotely believable. Smith is charismatic and entertaining as always, and the supporting cast does the movie a great service as well. Overall, while certainly nothing spectacular, I, Robot is a decent sci-fi/action flick that I recommend, especially if you're a fan of Will Smith.

Definitely entertaining. This is one of those movies that had potential to absolutely suck, but Will Smith does really well as the 'chip-in-his-shoulder' hero and, somehow, is totally believable despite the far-fetched plot.

A mindless, fun movie to watch. It's just another sci-fi robot flick, which takes some ideas from Asimov's writings. I don't think it's meant to be any direct translation of his work, though. Predicatable storyline, decent special effects, but it had some decent action, too. Nothing mind-blowing, but still potentially entertaining.
