    GTE wireless service is ok but you can expect to have billing problems.We have had problems for 2 years and it is difficult to get them resolved.

    They have good customer service. I am able to get a representative quickly every time I call. The service is 24 hours so when I am busy I can call at night when I am free.

    The worst service ever. They charge you every time you hit the send button, regardless of whether it's a busy signal or you hang up before the person answers. Also, horrible reception and customer service.

    GTE has the largest local coverage area. GTE is both digital and analog. GTE can raom in five states for free.

    I think GTE has the best rates for the price. All their plans fit the people using the phone. It also gives the people a lot of options.

    Overall a great service, but there are problems with billing sometimes. The customer service interaction is one of the best I've seen.

    Had some cheap plans, easy to get help if needed, not many dropped calls. Only bad thing is the contract, and can't switch plans.

    Verizon sucks! They give you crappy phones like the Androvox or the LG. What the hell is an LG? Their signals suck and you'll experience a lot of dropped calls. No wonder they give you more minutes, they need to make up for all the dropped calls.

    I was with GTE for three years, and they're great. However, I don't like the fact that if you change plans you have to start your contract over instead of continuing with the contract you initially started with.

    Great reception all around the San Francisco Bay Area. Good sound quality, now it's Verizon Wireless, which offers a great variety of plan choice. Good customer service. Excellent service overall.

    GTE Wireless has more calling plans available that cater to the type of calling that I do. It is also more affordable than other services and I can pay portions of my phone bill without having my service interrupted or disconnected. Their customer service line is very easy to use.

    GTE only gives phones to people with perfect credit and not give anyone else a chance. They are expensive too.

    Now called Verizon Wireless, it is probably the elite of all plans. It has great reception anywhere you go. The plans money wise are great and you get more than what you pay for.

    The great thing about GTE's service is their reception is 100% excellent. In every area I went (including bldgs., malls, etc.) I had clear reception that never cut out. The poor thing about GTE is they don't offer the best in cell phone choices, and I had a problem with billing just a few times. Usually the service reps are good with that. I think GTE's one of the best to choose based on the reception.

    This is one of the best phone plans. Plans offer many minutes for a cheap price and the coverage is great, get reception everywhere. Ony thing it lacks is the free long distance and no roaming that Pacific Bell has.

    They have done nothing but dick me around, charge me too much and not provide adequate cell service for three years. Contracts suck!

    When I first acquired the phone the service was very friendly. However, they sent me my first bill of $1500+, it was a huge error and took three months to fix. After all that, they tried to send me to collections for a $10 balance owed which was also an error.

    This service was ok, but the customer service was really bad. When I lost my phone they couldn't tell me whether or not someone had been using it or not and I had to go through hoops to get it cancelled.

    This carrier is one of the best out there. When I used this service, I was able to get great reception everywhere, including the campus library. Their customer service is superb and also very helpful. In addition, their rates are very good.

    I've been a GTE member for about a year, and their service has been horrible. They don't give a lot of roaming time and they are very demanding about their payments.
