Islam is a monotheistic religion dictated by the Quran a text considered to contain the one true word of the Gecko as written by the prophet Muhammad Ali Baba a.k.a Achmed the Dead Terrorist. Similar to Christianity and several other religious cults, Islam forces followers to believe that “Allah” is the one true God of the universe and forbids all followers from believing in or worshiping any other God. Of course, this deity is extremely egotistic, filled with jealousy, somewhat psychotic, and prone to temper tantrums like a two-year-old child. For example, the Christian God Yahweh a.k.a. Yahooweh displayed his ability to lash out in a truly vindictive nature several times through out history and is known for killing off as many as 3 million of his devout followers just because of their so-called sins against God.

True believers of the Muslim faith practice the Five Pillars of Islam. Shahada is the credo of Islam recited under oath while being held at sword point where followers proclaim Allah as their supreme master. Salah is the ritualistic practice of praying while facing Mecca five times per day. Kneepads and flying carpets are available at the local Mecca USA hip-hop fashion, carpets and apparel. In addition, followers are required to Sawm or practically starve to death during the month of Ramadan (not to be confused with the hotel chain) from dusk to dawn to atone for their sins give thanks to Allah for their starvation, and remind them that they really do have it better than poor people do. Alms giving or Zakat is the practice of giving based on wealth accumulation. It is obligatory for wealthy Muslims to give to the poor, however since there are hardly any wealthy Muslims this practice is seldom followed today. Finally, every Muslim who can afford the trip must make the pilgrimage or Hajj to Mecca at least once in their lifetime. Unfortunately, the cost is so outrageous most scream Holy Shit when they see the ticket prices.

Their honor killings of women is disgraceful. The Militants in this Religion treat women like second class citizens. Covering women up from head to toe does not keep males from lusting, molesting them, then honor killing them if the woman gets pregnant from a sexual assault. How come the men go free? The man's opinion counts for everything and the woman doesn't in this twisted thinking. Can women even own property or get the children after a divorce? Yet feminist are silent around the world. Hello --where is the outrage?-- I only hear the crockets.

*Prayer (five times a day) is an important part of the faith where one bows before God, expresses faith, give thanks for blessings, and seek guidance and forgiveness.

This is a message to all of you who are ignorant about the true teachings of Islam. If you were people instead of "sheeple" then you may be motivated to see why there is so much Islam-bashing in all spheres of the media. There is an agenda to control all the oil supplies in the world and unfortunately for the Muslims, most of it lies in their lands. Muslim is a pretty degraded religion that deserves a better reputation. The extremists are the problem, not the peaceful followers.

Still, I'm an Atheist and therefore against any theistic religions.

Other than being a belicose religion in the extreme, many of the teachings have value; just not eternal value.

I'm sure there's a lot of nice people that practice Islam. I just don't believe in this religion. I am a Christian who believes in Jesus Christ and the Holy Bible.

To those that practice Islam(The extremist ones), I would like to know what their agenda is, what they are trying to achieve and how they go about doing it.

This is something I won't comment on much because Islam has good points to it’s faith, but unfortunately millions believe the wrong prophet. But then again I'm an infidel.

Islam continuation of Judaism and Christianity. The scriptures prior to Islam were never written until real late after the prophet; try 1500A.D. for Christianity. The corrections to a lot of deviations of the truth are revealed in Quran. Yes, Islam is derived from the Arabic word for "Peace." At the same time a person practicing Islam (Muslim) has the right to stand up to oppression, and aggression (yes, I will defend my home; it is my right). A lot of the internet and media is plagued by untruthfulness. Every human has the right to seek the truth, learn from: ex. Dr. Zakir Naik, comparative religion scholar and the likes. After all Baseball coach, probably may not give you what u need to know in like Basketball or Golf. Learn from a specialist in that field. I can promise if you only knew Islam you would not pause a second, unfortunately many muslims are negligent and will be held accountable for their deeds. The Quran has been proven completely accurate!

Allah and Islam isn't the problem. Blind faith in a deity that you think wants you to kill people is the problem. Lumping ALL Muslims together with a few radical terrorists is like lumping ALL Christians together with the likes of Fred Phelps or abortion clinic bombers. Let's stop the generalizations. Most Muslims are good people that are non-violent - just like most Christians are good people that are non-violent.

It is the right religion to believe in. Allah almighty has sent us a prophet and a holy book (The Quran) that taught us every single good thing and warned us from the bad things. HE has told us about the old nations and prophets and we believe in all of the previous prophets.

No problem with this religion either - at least the way it's supposed to be practiced. But the practices of jihad and subjugating women need to be stopped.

A few years have changed part of my view of this concept.  It is the least hypocritical practitioners of the 3 monotheistic religions as a whole because I find the practitioners of Islam far more honest in their interpretations and practices concerning scripture.  Probably the least understood religion in our culture for obvious reasons. Jews and Christians tend to forget (or maybey they simply were never told) that the God of Islam is the same god of Judiasm and Christianity. Islam translated means 'peace'. . .radicals who blow stuff up are not practicing Islam. People of the Islamic faith have been the best students and scholars I have ever met.  Having said that, on the whole this way of life is anti-science, anti-humanist, sexually repressed, overtly sexist at best and mysoginist at worst, and is in need of some kind of Martin Luther figure for a major reformation.

Don't know much about it, but then my philosophy regarding organized religions is simple: stay away from them.
