the stridex pads worked good for me for awhile then after i stopped using em' & started using clearisil pads i like those better because you could feel the pads working on your face & they don't dry your face out . when i ran out of clearisil pads my mom got me more stridex pads now my face is starting to get a little irritated . i'd recomend you to use clearisil's face pads because they don't dry you face out as much but if you have real oily skin use stridex pads , but if your face is only oily around your nose & eyes use clearisil .

For me Stridex worked great! It cleared my acne without over drying. Also even thogh my skin isnt to over oily I feel that it is and always feel the need to clean my face so these come in handy for that purpose. Ive amost every common brand of acne products, perscriptions, and pro active and they all didnt work as well as these pads. I do wash my face twice a day but noticed that without the Stridex pads i break out. Even when using a brand like Pro Active. So would I think this is a great product and I suggest it to everyone even thugh results may be diffrent.

i just started using stridex pads with aloe about a week ago and ive really seen a difference with my skin! its almost all cleared up! before i use these pads i use nuetrogena oil free cleanser and then nuetrogena spot trearment then a moisturizer (i use proactiv moisturizing lotion it really helps with the drynest because your skin gets really dry if u dont) i used proactiv before this and it didnt work at all ! i would really recommend this product! 3 stars.

I use these for a Salicylic Acid treatment prior to applying my moisturizer, and they have really helped to clear up blackheads and breakouts, so much so that I have felt brave enough to stop using Benzoyl Peroxide for my breakouts (which was drying out and irritating my skin a lot worse than these pads do). It stung when I first started using it and it felt like I could feel every bit of crud being purged forcefully out of my pores, but now it just tingles when I use it. It also doesn't make my skin get dry and flaky either like the Benzoyl Peroxide did. I would say this is a pretty good buy if you're looking for some inexpensive Salicylic Acid product.

first of all let me say that if you have dry skin, DO NOT USE stridex pads. but since i have oily skin, they worked pretty well for me. my brother had been using them for a while and his skin looked great! so i decided to try them. in a couple of days my acne was pretty much gone! then i switched over to clearasil face wash to see how it would work, and it worked for about a month then i started breaking out again. i am definitely switching back to stridex acne pads!

I thought these were horrible. Its not the burning that bothers me, its the excessive over drying that occured on my forehead, nose, and chin. People have different skin types and these aren't made for me..

This product was horrible. Not only did it not clear up my acne, but it stung so badly and left my face red for five days.

ya'll need to suck it up.ya its gonna sting but if u want to get better skin quit complaining. and if ur skin is dry get a good moisturizer like cetaphil.i think this product is great. it dries my skin a little but a bit moisturizer and my skin is smooth agian .it gets rid of the dirt tht regular clensing misses and cleans of makeup in a breeze. and about the smell i dont think its bad at all and if it does hold ur breath or just breath out of ur moush.so simple yet so hard for some but w/e.

This is what I typically use. I only have one problem area on my face: the right side of my chin...which seems to flare up based on stress. Day to day, Stridex pads work great for me, but they don't do anything when that area breaks out.

Stridex USED to be good until they took the alcohol out of them. Now they do absolutely nothing for your face but make it nice and shiny. It does NOTHING for acne. You are better off buying Clearasil pads or OXY pads.

Yeah, they suck. If your acne is just minor, you can kill it with this regimen: Buy: Neutrogena acne soap bar (orange, clear soap) 1 Bottle rubbing alcohol Napkins Nature's Cure Vanishing Cream Acne Medication Wash face w/ Neutrogena. Then soak a napkin with alcohol and wash your face with it. Then rub enough of Nature's Cure on your face to cover your face. The most important thing is to do this at least twice a day every day. You'll keep your acne under control.

I really loved these. They dried up my zits fast and made my skin smooth. Within two days, my zits were gone. These are perfect.

I used these maximum strength pads when I first saw I had Acne. It worked great, but stung a lot, and after useing it for a week, my skin peeled A LOT. I used the Normal kind, and I started to break out.

One word to sum these things up...Ouch! They sting like you wouldn't believe, and they make your face feel dry and your skin feels almost sticky after you use them. You can see that they do pick up dirt, but they aren't really effective in helping clear up breakouts. And I can't stress on how much they make your face hurt...it's not a tingling sensation, but more like a burning, needles-on-your-skin feeling. In short, there are better acne treatments out there...this one is not for everybody.

Terrible!!!!! This stuff is come cheap sh*t you can just do by putting alcohol over come cotton ball or pad. It dried my combination skin up and left some sticky residue! I had to wash my face again twice to get that nasty feeling off! Man i wanted to punch the company!

Maybe it works well for those with oily skin. This product leaves your skin dry, itchy and irritated. Not a good product to use.

This stuff dries out your face. It makes blemishes look redder and your face gets all dry and peels. It's gross.

This product works very well. It removes the dirt from your face which helps prevent breakouts. The only bad thing is it is a bit strong and stings a little.

I tried it on my face, but it was so strong it ended up drying out my face. I was peeling for one week. The smell is strong too.

Doesn't work! Smells bad. It leaves a greasy film on my face. My blemishes don't go away unless I let the pad soak on my face for a few hours. Good for cleaning your face, not effective for blemishes.

This product is too strong. It doesn't smell good and it makes me break out with pimples. It makes my skin dry, too.

The pads do work good and do clean your face, but they leave a dry face and also they smell too much like alcohol. The thing is they make you break out even more at first, then it starts to work. But coming up with the idea was great for acne.

Well the first time I used these pads it was cool because I could feel the pads make my skin tingle, it felt like they were working. Once I had rubbed the pads over my skin it felt like my pores were opening up and "breathing." I used these pads for a week, but in this short amount of time I could see a lot of my pimples going away, as well as blemishes on my skin that I had caused by picking at my skin.

Drys your face and sometimes causes breakouts, which is why you are using it, so it doesn't help you.
