Ultra nose strips are an outstanding product. The amount of stuff that comes out is amazing- it really does look like a porcupine! There is literally a whitehead on each speck of the strip when I'm done. My nose is completely cleared, soft, and glowing! I use toner afterward to sweep away any residue and seal my pores shut. It looks so cool to go up close to the mirror and visibly see your pores opened up and empty. I absolutely love this product. It makes the face look so fresh, smooth and clean. All the reviewers who claim that the strip hurts is ridiculous. It is nothing!! And come on, people are complaining about the cost, would you rather pay 10 times that amount for a facial? The results you get are so worth it, I hope they never ever stop making it. I don't know how else people can extract the stuff out, it would take forever to get the amount of stuff out like the strip does in 15 minutes. For it to be effective, you should definitely wait until it gets hard like p... Read more

I use the strips that are labeled deep cleaning, and they work wonders. I have gotten a box or two that haven't worked-as some people mentioned- but I think they must have been exposed to moisture or something. I use them once a week on my nose, and it is incredible at how much stuff comes out of your pores- it is really gross. And by the way- these DO NOT EFFECT YOUR PORE SIZE. Pore size is heriditary! I recommed washing first, and applying lots of warm water on the area you are going to use the strip, and immediately apply strip. They work best for the nose if you have congested pores there. I apply 10% BENZOYL PEROXIDE afterward. It wont keep your pores clear forever, but it is way cheaper than having extractions done professionally!

I really don't think these work at all. I've tried them and they really only peel off a few blackheads. I think that using an exfoliating product is way more effective. Also, they are time-consuming and weird-smelling. You're also throwing away fabric (or whatever material they're made of) every time you use them so they aren't very "green." Use an exfoliating product instead!

the biore pore strips do remove SOME of the black heads but not enough of them to make a real difference. the box advertises that you would see the blackheads decrease with continous use but honestly, i found that it made my blackhead problems worse and now i have more than when i had just left it alone. also, the shape of the strips do not contour to the crevices on your nose and therefore makes it less effective in removing blackheads on certain areas. the strips comes in a box of six and sells for about $5 to almost $6 EVEN at Walmart so it's pretty costly for the poor quality and effectiveness of this strip. i would recommend trying something else... and let me know if you find something that works! definately will NOT buy pore strips EVER again!!!

I love Biore Strips. I have been using them for years, since they came out. I have tried several other brands, but none works as well as biore strips. They work better on my nose, before I used them My nose was like a strawberry with all the seeds (I know gross thought) but it has been YEARS since I last had that problem. True, my pores have become bigger and I really need to watch that I only use them about once a week to allow the pores to tighten, and allow my skin some time "off". I will also admit that they don't always work the same. Making sure you use warm water to open up your pores first or using right after the shower and allowing it time to dry (at least 15) is best. Not for everyone, try it.

Okay, its my first time using biore deep cleansing strips, and i barely bought the stuff, i then wet my nose then slap it on and the next minute i'm on the net reading reviews. There were complaints about how these things dont work, i then pull the strip in about 13 min(because i was scared of going at 15 lol),but i think these things are GREAT. Its like the first strip i've ever trid and it pulls all that nasty gunk out. So i would recommend this to everyone except people with sensitive skin.

These are the only cleansing face strips that I use. I have tried other brands and they suck, they don't pull out any blackheads or clogs. I like the nose strips the best, they seem to make the biggest difference on my face. Even my son uses them sometimes! I have tried ones for the chin and forhead and the chin ones didn't work as well but that may be due to the curves of that part of my face not sure.

I think that these things aren't intended for use for moderate to severe dermatological problems.  If you've got a lot of blackheads or pimples, you probably want to just go to a dermatologist.  These things are more of a maintenance kind of thing. I've used 'em for a couple of months (once every couple of weeks/about a month or so), and though they haven't magically made everything perfect, it does what it's supposed to:  You get your face wet, you slap one of these things on your nose and smooth it out, then wait for it to dry.  It suggests 10-15 minutes, I go for a little over 15 (seems to work better that way, so that the stuff doesn't just stick to your face when you peel it off).  Then, SLOWLY pull it up.  It really doesn't hurt all that much (though apparently others are more sensitive than I am.  I guess if you have really sensitive skin you shouldn't use these).  And, yes, when I pull it off, I look.  I don't know a single person who uses these that DOESN'T look.  There'll be... Everyone has a different opinion about this product. My advice, I think you should try it yourself to see if it works for you. It doesn't cost very much but here's a guideline that I've found to be useful. Keep in mind that this doesn't apply to everyone. People with a greasy nose are less likely to get the full benefits of the Biore strips. Of all the strips though, I've found Biore to be the best. When the skin is drier, it has a likeliness of ripping your skin out instead of your blackheads so make sure that your skin's somewhat moisturized before you use this. In my opinion I think it does a fairly decent job getting rid of blackheads but I wouldn't recommend anyone using this stuff for long-term uses. Using strips on your skin may temporarily lift your blackheads but it does that by pulling on your skin which stretches your pores out more than they should be. And let's face it as effective as this may be at times it isn't worth stretching your skin out. Actually a better method to... Read more

I've been using this product for the last 6 years or so. It can be quite effective is used properly. It is NOT meant to be used on skin with bad acne, open blemishes, and pimples. The pore strips work best on people with oiliness in the t-zone, blackheads, whiteneads that are visibly clogging the pore. Also, use them once in a while (once every two weeks). Using them too often can over aggitate your pores and possibly make them bigger! Your skin also needs some time to heal and pores need time to tighten up after being cleared. Use a light exfoliater after removing the pore strip to slough off the residual treatment and dirt/oil. This product is not designed to make bad skin perfect...it's a product to refine skin.

I love this product...I find it works best when I wash my face with plain soap before I get out of the shower & then apply the strips right away to my wet face. This is one of the few products I'd hate to have to live without. Obviously, I have bad skin!

I have found the Biore face strips to be a very good product. I have been buying them for a couple of years now, and they have really made a difference, in my skin as well as my kids.I have found that the pore strips work best, right after a shower, while the skin is still very wet. If you have a problem with the strip removal , all you have to do is dampen the skin slightly, also if the regular pore strip does not give you the results that you are looking for you may want to try the BIORE ULTRA STRIPS, they contain, witch hazel, and menthol, to help remove the deep and hard to get blackheads. Thankyou biore for a great product. [email protected]

I thought it would be fun to buy these strips to see if I could clear the pores around my nose. I wish I had checked the opinions here before I had wasted my money. When I used these strips I couldn't see any discernable pore material on them at all-just my first layer of skin. Pulling the strip off was very painful. Don't waste your money. You would be better off super gluing duct tape to your nose; its cheaper and it would do the exact same thing.

I think that "irishcherokeespirit" hit the nail on the head here - these are completely useless. My first thought after being suckered into buying a box of these was that the person who invented them had been fooling around with scotch tape and thought heyyyyy...I'll bet if we changed the color, made the adhesive a little stronger and got a cute model to advertise this it could at least sound good. Never mind if it actually works any better than Scotch tape or a warm wash cloth.

Pore strips are a gimmick. The only thing they might remove are some of the fine hairs on your face (for a woman). I've never seen ANY result from using these strips. I've tried all of the different strips from Biore and I didn't get any results from any of them. I was very disappointed and angry at the ads and commercials that have great actors trying to sell a product that doesn't deliver. It's a gimmick and easy to sell... it seems like the strips would work, but they never worked on me. I tried the strips more than once -- to give Biore the benefit of the doubt, but time and again, I was disappointed... no results and wasted money... and the remaining blemishes that were never "removed" or even lessened to any degree. I just got temporary red skin from the sticky stuff that adheres the strips to the skin.

Ouch!!! I have sensitive skin and these strips burned my face so bad that the first three layers of skin peeled off and left me with a blistered, red, irritated nose and forehead. I couldn't even go to school the nexr day I was so embarrassed.

With these strips you have to wet one side lightly and place on the face. Unfortunately, the strips are hard to place and air bubbles and wrinkles always appear. The sticky film that is left is also very pore clogging if not washed off immediately after removing the strip. Also, they are not that effective in removing what they say they do(dirt and blackheads).

It hurts a lot when you take it off and I wouldn't mind that as much if it worked really well. It doesn't get everything. I don't think it even gets MOST of the dirt out. I guess it might have continual use benefit if you used it every few days, but if you don't have time for that it's not really worth it. I would choose a deep cleansing facial mask instead.

I think all the products that claim to rip out blackheads by strips that stick to your face for 10-15 minutes suck and don't work. On the commercials they always say to look on the strip after you rip it off and you'll see all the blackheads they pulled off. I've never seen any, and they are left on my nose. These are a waste of money 'cuz they don't work.

This product will tear off the 1st layer of dead skin cells and NOT remove deep, hardened blackheads. This is similar to waxing your face. PAINFUL! This will not dissolve impurities or extract them like professional products!

These were crap. Totally worthless. They didn't get anything below the surface of the skin. They pulled of the darkened top of the blackhead, but left the rest there which had darkened by the next evening.

Very expensive and when used not all blemishes in pores come out. At times the Biore Strip does not stay on the face, so part of it is wasted, therefore money is wasted. I usually try to get the Strips for free.
