I can recommend a reputable pharmacy (Motrin) http://your-canadian-medshop.com/item.php?id=165&aid=9210 I received the order and it was on time and the pills work great.

The best Advil would have to be the liquid capsules. The tablets don't work as well, and have a funny taste on the way down. The price is fair considering how well they work, and Advil is a brand I trust. Great product!

The best otc pain reliever is the liqui-gels. Yesterdsy I had a killer headache.  Ibuprofen and aspirin didn't do much, but the advil worked like a charm.  The name brand is double the price of the store brand, but they both work the same.

Advil, motrin, ibuprofen. all the same. These medications have been the cornerstone of pain relief in medicine for decades. They are well tolerated, and work by decreasing inflamation (wherever it may occur). Be careful though, over the counter does not mean safe, and exeeding the recomended dosing schedule can do some harm to the kidneys.

This works the best in knocking out a killer headache. The best, I swear by it.

One liqui-gel (usually) takes care of any headache I ever get within 15-20 minutes. If 1 doesn't do the trick, 2 always does.

Good on short term pain, i.e. tension headaches, fever, stiff neck from working on the computer too long (that's me), or mild muscle strain.

Advil is a great pain reliever, especially if you have a headache or muscle pain. Yesterday, I sprained a back muscle, putting me completely out of commission. Advil as least took the pain away enough so I can walk around a bit.

I use Advil primarily for menstrual cramps and for headaches. It works quite well for these uses, usually I don't need to take more than 2 and they relieve pain for at least 6 hours. For more severe pain and body aches (such as a killer of a strained neck), however, Advil just didn't cut it. Also, it's not as effective in my opinion for fever as Tylenol. Other things I like about Advil are the coating and small size (helpful for those who have problems with swallowing large pills) and its lack of side effects - no drowsiness or upset stomach!!

I bought Advil Cold & Sinus capsules. I'm 6'2" and 250 pounds, yet I was unable to push the capsule through the celophane compartment. I'm all for child-safety devices, but this is ridiculous. Can't open them readily, so I won't be buying them again.

Advil severly effects my stomach anytime I have used it. In one instance I even developed a rash. I've heard similar comments from other people as well. I will not use it again.

I love Advil! It works for everything! Advil dimineshes a headache and doesn't leave me feeling drowsy. I also use it for monthly discmfort and I think it works better than midol. It's one medicine that I know I can count on and in this hectic world that is a comfort.

Advil is the best pain reliever out there. It defenitely works faster than Tylenol. It's good not just for headaches, but for any type of pain.

Advil has always been a really good pain reliever for me. It especially has worked well for sore muscles and tension headaches (as opposed to the sinus variety). It seems to take a little longer to kick in than some pain relievers, so, if I use it at night I usually take one about 30 minutes before I go to bed. That way, it's just starting to work about the time I fall asleep and will be effective most of the night. Almost without fail, whatever was ailing me is usually gone by morning.

I have a stomach disease that is intensley painful at times. This is the only thing that I can get over the counter w/ out paying an arm and a leg for that even touches the pain. I buy this stuff in the biggest bottle that I can get. It does wanders for menstrual cramps as well.

You may need to take a few Advils for it to really kick in, but it will eventully work. It is my second choice I would say, or maybe third, because I use tylenol when I need something to take away my pain.

I was recently involved in a car accident and took Advil. It worked for a little while, but the pain came back two or three hours later. It has a bad taste because something in it is hard for me to swallow. It doesn't go down as smoothly as I thought it would.

Good general pain reliever. Works well for everything. Motrin is stronger. Good on cramps. Helps bring down swelling.

Advil is not only helpful for pain it is an anti-inflamatory which Tylenol is not. So for any swelling or migraines use Advil and a Tyelnol if needed.

It doesn't cost a lot and after three pills it actually kills the pain. Plus, it helps a lot of different types of pain.

Advil, the over-the-counter form of Ibuprofen is an excellent pain reliever. From muscle cramps to headaches, even toothaches and sunburns, I find it does a good job. The sugary coating is another advantage.

No other pain reliever works as well as Advil. It's fast, works great with all pain. However, it's not worthy of a 5, because if you don't take it before the pain gets BAD, it tends not to work.

The last time I had an awful hangover, I thought I was going to die from dilusion. I took some Advil to help me sleep that night and I thank the makers for helping me be alive today.

Ibuprofin is the absolute best, over the counter pain reliever. Advil works fast and is the most effective medication for headache, PMS, and muscle pain.

Good for short term pain relief or to reduce swelling. However, if you need strong pain relief I'd try something else.

I had previously given Advil a "3" However, I have been using it lately (thanks to a friend in the pharmaceutical business who is encouraged to give out samples) and it is not only relieving my headaches but eases other aches and pains as well (including toothaches). I try not to give my kids much medicine at all, but they did take the children's chewable Advil when they had a recent fever and it worked great..without any side effects. I am now a firm believer in Advil.

First I would like to say that I find the flavor of the coating of Advil to wretched, and sickly sweet. Although, I have friend who apparently used to eat these by the handful, well actually just suck the coating off and then spit them out but we're talking dozens of these. It's like downing shots of pepto all day. Nasty. As a pain reliever though I think these work wonders. Get a headache I just take one of these and wait for it to go away, perfect. P.S. the 4 is a reduced score because of the putrid flavor.

I use Advil the most. It works great for cramps and back pain. I don't think it works as well for headaches. For really strong pains, Advil tends to wear off. Sometimes I need two doses versus one.

Out of all the pain relievers I've tried, Advil knocks out my pain best. It even brings the swelling down after a torn muscle. My only complaint is that it relaxes me.

Advil is great for pain relief if your stomach can handle it. Just remember that the generic form of Advil is ibuprofen and it costs half as much. I'm in medical school.

I was training for a marathon and injured myself really bad. I could hardly walk and for about two weeks my shins were so swollen. I could only walk if I took advil. It helped with the swelling and the pain. I ate them like candy and it was the only thing that got me to work because I couldn't walk with out it.

Great for headaches and muscles pains. Doesn't give me any bad side effects. If you want to save some money, however, buy the store brand. It is the exact same thing at half the price.
