I am an Avon Ind. Sls Representative and I love what I do. I used to wear Estee Lauder & Clinique products and switched to Avon when I started selling it. I find the Avon Anew skin care line to be top notch. I am complimented all the time on how beautiful my skin is. The eye treatments are very nice as are the foundations. Make up is like anything else, you need to shop and try a few within a specific manufacturer before giving it the boot. If you aren't sure, then consult the Representatives. The Reps are there for that reason, to help you to make an informed and correct decision for your specific skin type. I love how people will try one product from any given company and then trash that company because they didn't like that one thing. Ridiculous. Would you trash Chevy because the Malibu wasn't to your liking? No, you'd move on to something else, perhaps the impala etc. Anyway, talk to your Reps in any company and try to find the right fit for you. If you've tried the recommenda... Read more

I'm going to admit right off that my Mom does sell Avon, BUT, I'm also stating that just because she sells it, doesn't mean I like all Avon products (because I don't) In the past I have been very disappointed in the quality of Avon products, and the fact that the colors never seem to match up to what the catalogs shows. With that said I'm now going to tell you the upside to all this and why I gave this product a rating of four Stars. In the last year I have noticed that Avon is striving to improve their products for the customers and I've been impressed with the progress. They are also trying to get with the "times" so to speak, for the younger generation. My favorites are the glazewear lipglosses, with a variety of unique, colorful shades to please the young to the more mature adult, the gloss glides on, and from my experience doesn't clump or get messy like other brands and the price is right usually retailing for around $5.00, but usually going on sale every other campa... Avon is OK, but it tends to look bad on certain complexions. The only thing that you can't go wrong with is the lip gloss. It does not gloss up your lips, but it does give moisture.

Avon lipsticks are good for a little while, but they have a certain scent that's not too appealing. Some types have a good lip conditioning system that other lipstick companies don't have.

Avon's lipsticks are cheap, yet last throughout the day. Huge variety of colors.

Their lipsticks aren't great. They don't stay on your lips as long as they advertise. The colors you see in the book aren't the colors you get. You can't really test the products until you now someone selling Avon.

Avon has very nice colors for all ethnic backgrounds. However, the lipstick doesn't stay on very well. The color fades in about half an hour. The prices are very reasonable, but I try not to buy it because I know the color doesn't stay on very well.

My experience of using Avon lipstick is that it was okay, but not as good as other types of products I have used. A little bit too dry and doesn't seem to stay on for long.

I have never purchased such a cheap lipstick like Avon ever in my life. It was awful. It melted and stunk up my car for days. The lipstick itself just absorbed into my lips. I will never buy Avon products again.

It is very good for the price. Shiny with fashionable colors. I can't buy it from a regular store, only the website.

Terrible on my skin. Dried up my skin and it is very expensive. My lipstick dried up my lips! Doesn't last long.

Avon products are good. They have improved in the last year or so. It's not expensive and if you're not wanting to spend lots of money on lipstick, this is for you. It doesn't last long and you will still have to keep applying frequently.

Merchandise appears to be deceiving, what you see and order in the catalog isnot what you'll always be statisfied to have. Most of the time you're disappointed.

A good lipstick brand, but not all that. To me, it doesn't stay on for long periods of time. You always need to put more on. It cakes up and is not vibrant enough for me.

Before I moved out to California, I lived in New York and used to always buy my liptsticks and other stuff from Avon. Now it's not as popular and hard to buy Avon merchandise. I really wish that they would have an Avon store in California.

Avon is a good product. It stays for all the day. As it contains vitamin E, so it moisturizes my lips and gives me a good feeling.

I never went to the Avon store but I ordered it from the magazine and the color wasn't the same as the book. Doesn't stay on for that long.

The thing that I hate about Avon is that the color in the magazine looks better than the real thing. Avon lipstick comes off really easily and sometimes dries out my lips.

It goes on well and lasts all day. Plus, it doesn't dry your lips and it gives great moisture to them.

I really like Avons variety of colours and options. I have many of their lip sticks. They are nice and creamy and long lasting.
