I do not like it at all, I think that the cleaning solution smells terrible, it leaves streaks all over my floor not matter what I do, and all it does is push the dirt around on the floor.

I was a happy Swiffer wetjet user for over 5 years. It worked great on my laminate floors. But then they redesigned the pads (cheapened them), and I get a smeary, dull finish,no matter what I do. Both my husband and I contacted the company (email and phone), and got no answers and no satisfaction. We are no longer users of this product.

the swiffer is ok for a quick fix. i personally like the old mop and bucket. i have a 3 year old and a puppy so the swiffer is not enough. i would suggest owning one, just don't throw away the mop!

I agree with S.Dalke. i've had my Swiffer WetJet for over a year now. I love it, it does the job. Ive never had any problems with the smell. It smells really good to me. The batteries last such a long time. I use rechargeable batteries so maybe thats the reason why they last so long. But even if i just leave them in there and never take them out for about 6mos. they still last a long time. As far as the noise. Geeeesh can ppl complain any more. The noise is nothing. C'mon ppl. The battery compartment has never fallen off. Ive never had a problem with it. I guess im one of the few to get the LUCKY Swiffer WetJet;) One thing though, it doesnt really help in cleaning your grout. So for that i have to get down on my knees and scrub them with a toothbrush, which i dont mind. It looks beautiful afterwords;) Plus i save more money that way, than getting someone to come and do it for me. Other than that I LOVE IT!!!!!!!!

Product is very good overall. However, I noticed after buying that it was available at Wal-Mart much cheaper and that was before the shipping charges were added.

I wanted the Wet Jet for my kitchen floor which is white tile (didn't pick it and wouldn't recommend it) which shows dirt two minutes after mopping. I can only get it together to REALLY mop my kitchen about twice a month so I wanted something easy I could whip out and put away fast. I mopped just now for the first time and it did a decent job. Not as good as getting down on your hands and knees, but I was satisfied with the results. Having said that, there are a lot of small problems with the Wet Jet. My kitchen is not very big and only took between 3-4 minutes to mop, however in that time span the battery cover fell off twice. The scrubby strip on the side is hard to use (you have to twist the head and that's when the cover pops off) and is virtually useless. If you have something stuck on you will have to scrape it with your fingernail or whatever. I wish I had listened to other reviewers who complained of the price of the replacement pads. The Wet Jet comes with only two pa... Read more

I've had this Swiffer for two years and I can tell you that I hate it. I put it in my cleaning closet after buying another microfiber mop and only use it if that mop's pad is dirty. Well, today I pulled out the old Swiffer Wet Jet, scrubbed to my heart's content, and now I have nice, STREAKY, DULL hardwood floors! I have to re-mop my whole kitchen all over again and am putting this thing on Craigslist to give away for FREE! Also, the battery compartment does keep coming off, and the replacement pads are too $$. Save your money and buy a different product!

I guess it's between the steam mop, and the Swiffer WetJet for us lazy floor washers. For me, the Swiffer is "it". I love that it's so light, it takes up so little room - it can be stored anywhere when you're not using it, and you can buy the replacement pads and detergents in most supermarkets now. Also - there's no CABLE involved. The scents from the different choices of detergents, are more like aroma therapy to me, than floor cleaner scents. My husband thinks they come on a little strong the first 10 minutes or so, but then again - we have dogs, cats and kids, so we need real fresh scents. When I have visitors coming over to a recently cleaned house, they always compliment me on the fresh smelling house. I like that! As some of the former "reviewers" have commented: The batteries really last a long time. I clean 1600 square feet of hardwood and tile floors 1-2 times a week, and the batteries have lasted me about 6 months every time. My guess is that what is going to dete... Read more

I have had a hard time figuring out the best way to clean my tile flooring. I started with a clorox ready mop- what a piece of junk. The spray mechanism kept breakting. I never felt as though the floor was clean- I would end up having to take out a scrubber and do things by hand. So then, fed up with the product, I went to the traditional mop. This has been a great thing for the most part. I feel as though I can really clean and scrub my floors. However, it was such a pain and a lot of work. I still needed something that would allow me to do a quick touch up around the highchair- or doing areas of the house that just needed a little sparkle and shine. I picked up the Swiffer Wet Jet and have been in mop heaven! Here is a quick list: Pros: Easy to work with Heavier duty, heavier than the ready mop which helps with the elbow grease Nice smelling cleaner Easy to assemble Cleaned up dried baby food like a charm! Swivels around furniture nice Get's into the corners and a... Read more
