If I could... I would give this a ten! I was skeptical at first, as I am with most products that seem too good to be true. I purchased this looking for a deodorant that was not also an antiperspirant (the whole aluminum / alzheimers, breast cancer etc... issue) . I am working hard at being more organic, limiting toxins that I ingest or put on my skin...to hopefully help with my anxiety and prevent many other diseases. I purchased the Crystal Brand Deodorant stick (purple packaging) and have used this for over several months (this product lasts forever...still looks like I just opened it). It hasn't failed me yet! I am not sure what other reviewers are talking about smells for. This product has absolutely zero smell to it, and it has NEVER left any sort of residue on my skin or clothes. I wasn't sure I would like not having a smell, but it is great! I love having no smell in my underarms... it helps my perfume to stand out more, and not compete. Downside: Now I have to be c... Maybe this product got better in the last few years, because I have to agree with the other review from 2007 that this is honestly the BEST deodorant I've ever used. It has no smell, but most important, neither do I! It even works on my feet which do tend to smell when barefoot in plastic shoes like flip flops or crocs. I will never use anything else. It's seriously just that good.

This is seriously the best deodorant EVER. I have used a million of the typical store brands and started feeling weird about all the scary warnings ( may cause liver damage etc.. so i wanted something NATURAL i changed to the crystal and its amazing. I WILL NEVER GO BACK EVER

Some background - very few deodorants work well for me, and I have sensitive skin. For me, the natural crystal is a great night-time or 'few-hrs' daytime deodorant. The best, in fact. But not good for all day use, or use under stressful conditions. I tried using a natural crystal after hearing all the scares about women and breast cancer from anti-perspirants. I first tried it at night, you know, 'just in case'. Folks, this isn't supposed to be an anti-perspirant, yet I woke up in the morning completely odor free and dry, even though I'd worn a sleeveless shirt to bed (usually means I'll sweat more than in a t-shirt). Since then, I've kept using it every night. Recently I tried using it on a day where I went out for a few hours in a sleeveless top. It left no residue on my clothes, and I didn't smell like anything. I also was drier than expected. Another time, I used it at night, reapplied it the next morning (no shower) and went to the gym. It didn't hold up. I began to smel... Read more

I've used a crystal deodorant for about 10 years and totally love it! In the beginning I had to get used to my underarms being WET and air drying after I put it on, but haven't given that little snag a second thought almost from the beginning. I put it on directly out of the shower before I dry myself. I love it! It isn't cheap, but it lasts forever like advertised - unless you drop it on the bathroom floor! I have a friend who swears by it for her feet. It is important to understand that it isn't an antiperspirant. Also, I've never had any trouble with staining on my clothes, not is it visible on my skin. Funny - I just remembered that years ago I would rub the crystal on my forehead and chin when they felt oily. Worked great! Haven't done that for years - maybe it cured me! I'd suggest giving it a try if you haven't. I'm glad I did!!!

This stuff is crap! It smelled OK, but after a few minutes you get BO! I felt like I used vinegar as deoderant! CAUTION: DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME

I don't find this deodorant very effective for me at all. It leaves an awful mess on my clothes and an hour or so after I apply it, I usually feel the need for even more deodorant.

Completely useless. You might as well use baby powder instead.

Crystal complains to be a deodorant that disappears when applied. It also claims that it doesn't leave a white film under your arms or on your clothes. Well, I've had a different experience. It doesn't disappear and it does leave a white film on my clothes. Plus, it doesn't work so well when trying to protect you from sweating and odor.

Aside from the horrible pink packaging and teenie bopper scent, this deodorant stings my pits. A word of advise, do not shave when you plan on using this. If you have some- throw it away.

When using this product which I chose because it doesn't contain aluminum (a carcinogen) I found that some days it worked and others it left me smelling at the end of the day. I was told that the Crystal prevents the bacteria that makes an odor from gathering in our armpits, but it just didn't work on really hot, hardworking days. I'm going to try it again because I am afraid of anti-perspirant.

Rock salt deodorant provides a safe and natural alternative to the chemical anti-perspirants that dominate the market today. It is ideal for anyone who has adverse reactions to chemicals, though it doesn't work as well as Mitchum.

If I could, I'd give it a zero. It's messy, doesn't smell good, and did nothing for me. I used it on a very hot summer day, and I felt like I'd gone without deodorant for all the good it did.
