Perhaps I'm missing something, but I doubt that the effective ingredients are that much different between the anti-perspirants, so price tends to be a factor of hype and brand. If my experience is accurate, then we're talking about deciding among strength, scent, and application (i.e. gel, stick, etc). With that said, Gillette puts out a strong product at a reasonable price. This is my day-to-day gel, and it seems to work long enough to get through my after work exercise, the scent is mild yet pleasant, and the gel goes on smooth.

This was the first Deodorant i ever used and used from the 6th grade until the end of my freshman year but Gillette got stupid and decided to change their formula so their new crap isn't as strong and fades in about an hour. If Gillette never changed it then it'd be 5 stars but because they did i'm out lookin for somethin new (currently tryin speed stick)

The gel glides on smooth and protects me from odor and wetness all day.

Best gel out there.Better than most other a/p out there. Solids don't smell too great.

Nothing worse than putting on sticky nasty deodorant. This stuff made me sweat like a hog, and it stained my shirts yellow. How embarrassing. Mitchum is the way to go.

Gillette deodorant products, which ranks as one of the cheapest name brand deodorants, are an excellent buy. There are numerous scents which are all pleasant smelling. My personal brand of choice.

Nice, subtle smell. Easy to use, stylish packaging. Has a good image- sexy, studly man.

I can't handle gels. They are wet and gooey. They don't last long and feel like hell when you put it on after a nice shower.

This deodorant works fantastic and smells great. There is one problem. It turns your white shirts yellow! I also hear it causes cancer, so I'm staying away from this one.

It took me several forced applications to get used to Gillete but now I gotta say if I didn't have any Dry Idea around (Dry Idea being the ultimate in Anti-perspirant/Deodorants) I would hesitate to use Gillete. If it wasn't for the fact that it comes in that semi gelatinous form it might rival the "Idea".
