Pretty good. Definitely effective; my hair isn't as itchy anymore. But it's not a magic cure, so be cautious! Not ALL my dandruff are gone. One bad thing is that it really sucks in getting your hair smooth & silky.

Head and shoulders works fine on hair. When rinsing drains down my face and dried it out so bad I had to see a Dr. Chemically burning my skin

I love it. I have oily hair, and it keeps my hair dry for longer than any shampoo ever has. Plus, I love the smell. I get the green kind which is Citrus something-a-nother. All hair types are different.

It really sucks. I usually shower once a day and I still get flakes (I think it's even worse after using h&s). I would rate it higher if it wasn't suppose to help with dandruff (cause it leaves my hair nice and silky), but that's beside(s?) the point. I like Selsun Blue but it's so darn expensive.

I think Head & Shoulders deserves its reputation as the standard for dandruff shampoo. It doesn't have a glamorous smell (probably because it is a "unisex" shampoo), but it is effective for eliminating dandruff. It's both a shampoo and a conditioner in one, so it is a timesaver as well.

This shampoo is tried and experimented on myself and it really helps cure all the damage and softens the hair

After Eric Clapton left Derek and the Dominoes, he now uses 'Head & Shoulders' exclusively...see the Dominoes were more 'Pert Plus.'

I hate it! I tried the new Head and Shoulders and it gave me tons of dandruff! I didn't really have much and now I have tons.

When I used Head and Shoulders, it got rid of most of my dandruff, AND, it took away all the extra, unwanted, grease, and the cool part was, it wasn't the citrus kind! Everyone noticed a difference.

I always passed this product on the shelves as something my aunt would use..but then, THE HORROR, I started getting some light dandruff! Luckily, the Head & Shoulders smelled great and conditioned my hair very well. AND it got rid of my dandruff! I don't use it regularly, as it is more costly than other shampoos, but when I do get dandruff every now and then I use it with confidence.

Makes my hair feel very silky.  Quite a surprise for a dandruff shampoo!  Haven't had dry scalp since I started using this product.

The night before I was my hair I'll massage the H&S; Soothing Lotion mixed with pure aloe gel into my scalp. The next morning I use the H&S; Moisture Conditioner to wash my scalp (I don't use shampoo). This has done wonders for my itchy/flaky scalp, much better than any shampoo could do! Thinking of trying the new Selsun Blue conditioner.

i don't have dandruff, i just saw the bottle that said cosmopolitan london has found the secret to gorgeous hair, so i bought it. I don't know what it is suppossed to do. I love the smell, and my hair is tangle free and soft, but very frizzy.

I don't have a lot of dandruff but my scalp gets VERY oily so I use the extreme clean kind that is a light green color. It works very well. I wish it made my hair sofer though.

I use the Refresh kind of Head on Shoulders now and again. It has a slightly minty smell and feels lovely when you massage it into your scalp. In terms of dandruff control it works very well, I only have to use it now and again. I tend to use a more conditioning type of shampoo otherwise.. although it works well at controlling my dandruff, it doesn't do wonders for my rather dry hair.

Head and Shoulders used to be a 5 star shampoo, until Proctor and Gamble decided to change the fragrance. It is way too overpowering, and I can't imagine alot of men care for the feminine scent. I can't give it anything below a 3 because it is very effective when getting rid of dandruff, and you don't even have to use it everyday to do this. I do like their new conditioner they came out with as well. Just go back to the original scent and it would be superb again. (Head and Shoulders is also a great shampoo to use on cats or dogs to get rid of their dandruff, my dog has a really nice coat of hair and it looks so healthy. I bathe him once every 2 weeks in H&S.;)

I've only used it a few times; I've never had a dandruff problem, so I never had to. It smells kind of funny. The reason why I gave it four stars is I can see the difference it makes for my mom and sister--they use it whenever they get dandruff, and it works enough that even I can tell the difference. It might not smell good to me, but I guess I can't argue if it really works, right?

I shampoo my hair every day and the only product I ever use is H&S. It makes my hair feel clean and smooth. I like the smell and it isn't expensive. It is one of the few things I buy that I feel I get my money's worth.

I have never had a dandruff problem, but I would get terrible acne on my scalp until I used this product. Something about the formula completely cleared up my skin!

I heard on the radio this product gives you cancer, so I wouldn't use this product.

Keeps my hair from being greasy, sticky, and with no flakes. My girl loves it.

I hate Head & Shoulders. I guess it works for dandruff, but all it does for anything else is leave your hair feeling sticky and gross. My hair feels dry and my scalp feels oily.

Thought I had dandruff (actually ended up being either product buildup or dry scalp), so I tried a small bottle of this shampoo. Never helped the condition, seemed to make it worse, so I stopped using it.

It doesn't work on my head. It actually gave me more dandruff. I had to use Johnson's baby shampoo to get my hair back to normal! Thanks a lot Head and Shoulders!

I think the formula works but they should come out with some fruity flavors. My eyes hurt everytime I get some in my eyes. But, it does get rid of all the white, crisp crap.

It controls my dandruff. Makes my hair shinier and more attractive. Leaves it soft, too.

Cleans my hair good, smells decent and eliminates dandruff. But, it makes my head itch and I hear if you stop using it, it can lead to increased dandruff.

This product dries out my scalp. It's supposed to take away dandruff, but it leaves that tingly feeling that I don't like. It's also too expensive.

Head and Shoulders is a great shampoo if you sometimes get itchy scalp. It also leaves my hair feeling soft and manageable. I suggest the two-in-one for people who need a little conditioning or frizz control.

One of the finest shampoos. Great for the hair and leaves a sensation of cleanliness. The hair smells good and the body fresh. It lasts a long time and is not that expensive. It's a great moisturizer and it relaxes the body. I love the shampoo and the soap. I will keep on buying this shampoo.

I do not speak of my own experience, but I have seen it at home. My mom bought it to help my dad with his dandruff problem, but it seemed that after months it hadn't resolved his problem. So they had to buy a different shampoo.

An old reliable and it really does the trick. I use it every day and don't have any problems with dandruff anymore. I like H&S Refresh a lot. I stay away from the store-brand because it never seems to work as well.

    The 2-in-1 shampoo is bad.
