I love the Amino Pon shampoo and I found the original pretty cheap at stuff4beauty if you are still looking for it. Great for fine hair!!

I'm a cosmetology student and our school uses Redken products for all our clients' coloring needs and I've discovered how DRYING its effects are. Before realizing this, I'd been really delving deep into what I could do to get rid of the FRIZZ, bring back the bounce, shine, and overall health of my and my family's hair. It finally hit me that our hair all went downhill since I started coloring us with the Redken products. I'm moving over to Wella coloring products to see if our condition improves.

Dang, I miss Redken Amino Pon shampoo. It would leave fine hair as soft and fluffy as a cloud. No other volumizing shampoo I've ever tried had quite that effect. Now you can't even find the generic knock-offs of Amino Pon anymore, and if you want the original, you have to shell out megabucks on ebay. I wish Redken would revive this one.

I have used Redken products for 10 years and I absolutely love the products. Sodium Laurel Sulfate and Laureth Sulfate are in just about ALL lathering products - toothpaste, dishsoap, hand soap, laundry soap, etc. They cause the product to lather - not strip your hair. My hair was a disaster before I used their products and I can't say enough good things about them. My only word of advice is only buy them from licensed hair salons - don't buy from drug stores as they are diverted products and are generally black market and can be harmful. I bought what I thought was a great deal once and it turned out to be over 2 years old. http://www.beautyweb.com/consumer_alert_diversion.h tm

I LOVE Allsoft . It's the best!!!! I have asian hair that is thick and dries easily. This is one of the few products that keeps my hair in check. To xxLosAngeles07xx-I did my research after reading what you posted and it turns out that your claims are false. Check out this link to the American Cancer Society for the truth about sodium laureth sulfate. http://www.cancer.org/docroot/MED/content/MED_6_1x_ Shampoo.asp?sitearea=MED

wooooooow.....these products are BAD!It has "SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE"....that is the harshest detergent used in shampoos. It not only drys your hair, but will strip natural oils from it. Also studies are starting to show that it may lead to cancer. PEOPLE....start doing your RESEARCH!!!

The Allsoft line is absolutely fabulous. Nothing beats the Heavy Cream. Although I do love the Smooth Down Butter Treat as well, the scent of the Heavy Cream is 10x better. I have thick wavy hair.

I've used Redken products for about 6 months now and I will never use another hair care product off of any drugstore shelf again. Nothing compares to Redken. I used AllSoft Shampoo and Heavy Cream and it turned my hair into silk. I can't stop touching it. I recently started using SmoothDown and it also works great. Makes my hair straight and soft, not the least bit heavy or oily. The products are a bit pricey but believe me worth every penny.

Redken's Active Express Split Second conditioner is, hands down, the best condtioner to ever hit the market. It turns your hair to silk in seconds.

For the first time in my adult life I have BEAUTIFUL hair, thanks to Redken products! My hair has always been wavy and dry with extreme breakage and highlighting (professional foiling) only made it's condition worse. I found a new stylist last year that introduced me to Redken products and, after faithful use, combined with regular trims, my hair has been totally transformed.! I have tried every product out there and I can assure you, there is no better conditioner on the planet than Redken "Heavy Cream". Contrary to the name, this product does not weigh down your hair...at all! In fact, it leaves your hair feeling like weightless silk after drying/styling. Other Redken products that are superb and far and away superior to any other hair products on the market are: Straight, Undone, and Anti Snap. Redkens "All Soft" shampoo and conditioner are excellent but, in terms of performance, Pantene's Daily Moisture Renewal line works just as well at a fraction of the cost.

I wholeheartedly endorse Redken All Soft to anyone who has hair that is frizzy, overstyled, or wiry! The avacado oil in it works wonders for my hair and when the hairdresser washed my hair with it for the first time, I could immediately tell the difference! The shampoo and the conditioner together cost about seventeen dollars but it's well worth it! This is a product that not only reduces flyaways and frizziness, but also leaves hair beautifully shiny and it doesn't have that second day greasiness that alot of cheaper moisturizing conditioners have! I am quite sure if people could get this at their local Wal-Mart and if it cost the same as Pantene, this product would be number one!

This stuff's the bomb. For my particular hairstyle it has perfect hold. Smells good too. A bit expensive, but worth every penny.

Redken is a very expensive haircare product, available in salons only, and come in a crisp plastic shopping bag. To its detriment, it actually has too manny choices to offer the consumer, who wants to treat herself to a ritzy haircare product but who simply is overwhelmed by the choices. Their conditioner does not detangle, which is a drawback. All in all, it is a special treat to indulge in at the direction of one's hair stylist.

My hair is thin and wavy. Many shampoos have been too drying or too heavy, but Redken always made my hair really manageable.

I used to use Amino Pon and Climatress both good products. The Amino Pon shampoo (if they still make it) is light yet cleanses and smells great. The conditioner is moisturizing without leaving any build up..you can use a bit every day for daily care and once a week, leave it on for about 10 minutes for deep conditioning.
