Speaking as a professional... I have used the paul mitchell daily instant mositure. It has done way more for my hair than redken ever has. Paul mitchell is more appealing to all hair types and is very diverse. I love Paul Mitchell products, and I highly recommended them. Usually people who don't like the products that have bought paul mitchell haven't even bought it from a Professional salon so its stolen, expired, tampered with, or counterfeit. Or it could also be because they used too much.. OR they just bought the wrong product for their hair. hairdressers are the only ones who really know what products are right for you or for what you are wanting to achieve with YOUR hair.

Hi, I'm a Paul Mitchell Professional and Daymaker - Please always make sure that you purchase Paul Mitchell product from a salon ONLY. Products in retail stores and WEBSITES are diverted product obtained through the gray market and sold to retail stores through distributors. Product in retail stores may be stolen, expired, recalled, tampered with, or counterfeit and may be hazardous to your health. Most of the time, authentic Paul Mitchell product is cheaper when purchased in a professional salon then through retail stores where the product is not guaranteed. Paul Mitchell does not sell product to retail stores and does not sell product to online stores! Paul Mitchell does not sell product on their official website and the only place the public can buy authentic product in in a professional salon!

"Hi, I'm John Edwards. When I'm secretly cheating on my wife and lying to everybody I know, I obviously can't go out w/a wet head of hair. Naturally (holds bottle), I use Paul Mitchell Instant Moisture becuase nothing dries faster."

I love all Paul Mitchell products. I've tried just about everyone. They are not heavy products, the dont cause pulled up, like most products that I've tried like Matrix can. I dont know why you people think that price is expensive, the price is worth what your getting. If you by professional products then this should be average; unless you people by cheap products at the market which make your hair fall out like most shampoo products can, so I would watch what you buy. Paul Mitchell makes your hair shine (probably the only company that has), manageable, soft, and if you have very damanged hair it makes it look VERY healthy.Plus all there products smell good. The Tea Tree line has a mint smell because its made for men because its a mascalin smell but everyone can use it thats whats so nice about paul mitchell you can use all the products and they make smells for everyone. And "NO" to "brandle" they do not test on animals they are probably the only company out there that doesnt and there... Read more

7 yrs ago i tried all of the paul mitchell hair care products, im not happy with it, it made my hair feel like straw, unmanageable, bedhead, you name it, i even tried that leave in or rinse out blue conditioner,....that made me feel like i left conditioner in my hair and scalp. my whole head felt yucky!! i wouldnt recommend this unless you have hair that can tolerate this hair care line, i seen the new paul mitchell shampoo called smoothing?? im curious about it, because my hair is straight and blow dried, it needs more moisture, truthfully.....im scared to purchase that smooth shampoo line, plus the costs is high in price here in hawaii, and many of the beauty salons here in hawaii dont reinburse you for purchasing there shampoo products after it has been used...... im sticking with over the counter shampoo's!!!!!!!

John Paul Mitchell was definately a genius when it came to hair products. There will probably never be another hair product that could ever stand the test of time such a Paul Mitchell product. And I am talking about any Paul Mitchell product. Awesome products, awesome prices, and your hair will stay healthy for life.

I bought this stuff, and its pretty nice, but it's way too expensive. It does give my hair a nice silky smooth feel though!

I am a professional and this product is not highly recommended. It can tend to cause hair to become dry. My whole family complained when I bought it and begged me to purchas something else.

Paul Mitchell is a very good haircare product, that's why it is so expensive. I think it's worth the $7 for mousse if you are rich, but it's a very good product if you aren't rich.

I hate their products. I was given a variety pack of them as a gift and they were the worst. They smell strongly and are sticky in my hair(hairsprays, etc.). They leaked all over the bottle and were yellow within a few days.

I've only used the Tea Tree oil shampoo, and although I loved the smell of this product it caused tiny breakouts along my hairline, so I had to stop using it. I believe the botanicals caused the problem.

These products are good for treating damaged hair. They are a little expensive but well worth it.

Very inexpensive hair products. I love the mousse, spritz, and Super Holding Shapier Hair Spray in the big white bottle. I feel elegant, confident and rich when I use this product. One of my favorites.

What makes the Paul Mitchell products so remarkable is not only the easy application and styling performance, but also that they are environmentally very favorable and offer a wide range of products that do justice to every kind of hair. I just wish the products were still a little cheaper!

All the haircare products made by the Paul Mitchell company are good for your hair, but they tend to be very expensive and test on animals (which is not good).

Paul Mitchell gel gets a high rating due to its all day hold. Paul Mitchell gel does not harden like most gels; it stays fresh all day so you can style it over and over.

Paul Mitchell products like Tea Tree shampoo and conditioner are very good for people who suffer from skin disease on their scalp such as psoriasis. This product smells like peppermint and leaves hair soft and manageable.

I love Paul Mitchell haircare products. It works so well on a variety of different hair textures. I am willing to spend a little more for a product that works well, rather than cut costs and let is show in the end result.

The Paul Mitchell hair products have never let me down. I love the Awapuhi shampoo and conditioner, and the instant detangler "The Detangler." They smell great, feel great, and leave my hair shiny and full of life, without residue. They never weigh it down; my head always feels light and airy.

As far as hair care products go, I think Paul Mitchell is the most beneficial to maintaining a beautiful head of hair. It really helps to strengthen hair and I like how it doesn't smell overly strong like Herbal Essences.

Hairspray is too sticky and has a very bad scent to it. It is very expensive and not worth it. It causes my hair to stay extremely hard. I would not recommend this product to anyone.
