    So what would be that value of annexing an island nation 3/4 of the way to Australia with the third smallest population in the world? In 1983, the U.S ratified a treaty with Tuvalu, under which it renounced its claims to some of the archepelago under the Guano Act. So unless someone figures out how to make SUV's run on guano, I think Tuvalu is safe.

    I heard that they have amber, too...the good stuff...the amber with vintage coke bottle caps embedded in them...
