Great machine. Have had it for 6 months now using twice a day. Coffee is made FAST. You can also use it to get instant hot water for cup of noodles, tea, etc. *nice bonus feature* . Sometimes the machine makes noise while heating the water but no problems. If you want a machine that makes fast  and hot coffee, easy to clean, and you don't need a fancy clock then I wouldn't think twice..  there's a reason a lot of coffee house's / restaurants use BUNN. :-)   As far as the 'energy costs' people mentioned, I think that's false because I haven't noticed a change in my electric bill... Even if you did have to pay 1$ or more every month its worth it..

Bunn Coffee Makers are very high quality coffee makers, and one typically needs to spend money to get this kind of quality. However, there are a few costs you should be aware of before you purchase a Bunn Coffee Maker. I'm not saying that it may not be worth it to you, but you may as well know all of the costs before purchasing. They both have to do with how Bunn delivers such a fast pot - 3 minutes as opposed to 4-8 minutes of other makers. The first way they do it is to have what amounts to two sets of water tanks: one you fill, and the other is preheated. The preheated water tank is delivered to the spray head, and because it is preheated, it doesn't require any time to heat it up. The problem is that it is preheated 24/7, and that can be costly. I'm guessing they use a 100 watt heater. If it takes 15-30 cents per day in energy costs, you are looking at $50-$100 per year. You can, after you are done brewing for the day, shut off the "vacation switch" which is the switch t... Read more

We waited for the price to be "right" for our dream coffee maker, and BAM. But, what a dream....perfect brew every time (have been using it for three months now). Years ago I recall working my way through school, and restaurants all over use only BUNN. It's the best, indeed. Easy to clean, easy to fill with water, and seemingly built well and solid for a lifetime. Only wish they'd offer a 12-cup model instead of the 10 for the home; other than that, a perfect machine. Don't waste your time (or money) on anything else. Well worth the xtra! wlv, illinois

I bought this coffee maker on Amazon after seeing the number of positive reviews. One thing that's very important, and I only found out after getting it delivered, buy the high altitude model if you live over 4000 feet altitude. Denver is over 5000 feet, for example. The reason that it's important is your coffee that sits in the carafe will boil since water (coffee) boils at lower temperatures as you go up in altitude. Boiled coffee is bad coffee. Coffee makers by BUNN that work at high altitude are designated "D" in the model numbers.

The delivery was much faster than we expected. Great job warehouse crew! The coffee brewer was exactly as advertised. We are very happy with our 3 minute coffee. As other reviewers also mentioned, if brewing a half pot or less you will need to use a few more grounds. A great buy.
