I bought the Medium orange for my dog and it is an exellent harness. the orange one is nice since it makes my dog easily visible outside. burrs can be a bit difficult if they get caught in the fleece part but a toss in the washing machine fixes that. The fleece lining is comfortable and doesn't cause friction under her armpits when she's running. Its also simple quick and easy to put on. its also has beautiful stitching. the only problem I noticed was the sizing. its general and there's only small, medium and large. I own a smaller sized shih tzu and the small didn't fit him properly. If you have a very small or very large dog you might have a problem with the fitting. aside from that this is a great harness.

I don't understand the negative reviews. This harness is extremely well-made. The stitching is beautifully done. The hardware is high quality. The quick-release buckle is permanently near the top, not hitting my dog's elbow like some brands. It is also so easy to squeeze, yet completely secure. Some of my dog's collars hurt my fingers trying to squeeze those buckles. And so soft!! Not like the harsh nylon ones I've tried in the past, which my sensitive Boxer hated. Of course if I let him start gnawing on it, it would quickly be ruined. Just like every other harness, nylon or leather. Like his nylon leash that has a knot now to strengthen a weak, chewed spot. And the color is gorgeous on my fawn boy.

... even though it looks a little bulky on her. She's a 3 month old lab mix. She chewed through her first, cheap, little harness. Putting a collar on her was hopeless; she would just pull, in turn, making ME look like a bad mommy. The leash is bulky, too. But I love them both!!! Ella is comfortable, and somehow, it feels like she pulls less - as though she needed to be weighed down a bit. She cried when I tried to take it off, which I think is a form of panic, but nonetheless it's comfortable enough for her to keep it on ALL the time. Everyone is correct about sizing, they run big. If you read carefully, it says how big the harness will EXTEND to. Good luck, enjoy! Also, I wondered what the point was of putting fleece on the leash, but if you carry your leash like I do - around the wrist, holding the actual leash, instead of the handle - it's VERY comfortable!!!

I loved this harness at first, but three months later I'm disappointed. The first problem is that it becomes loose over time. I don't know if the material is stretching or if the slide adjustment moves, but I have to constantly re-adjust it. After 1 week there can be as much as an inch of extra space. The second problem is that the adjustments are awkwardly placed. Depending on how problem #1 is progressing, the adjustment slider is either in my dog's armpit, or stuck in the loop that connects the chest loop to the neck loop. Either way, it causes the harness to move into awkward positions and affects my dog's stride.

I just got this dog harness in the mail today. I opened it and put it on my dog. I adjusted the harness so that it fit snuggly. The harness looks very comfortable and she didnt mind putting it on. We were outside about 3 minutes and she began chewing on the harness. I took her back inside and removed the harness. She had almost bitten the strap in half. Too much money for something that didnt last five minutes!

The small size harness is adorable and soft, but I originally thought the one I received was sewn completely wrong: no handle and the buckles and ring are on the underside of the harness rather than the top. Customer service quickly sent me another one, but I discovered that it was sewn the same as the last one--no handle, etc. An accurate product image should be displayed and the small shouldn't be advertised as compatible with a seatbelt because it's not. I still use it and my dog seems comfortable in it, although for very long walks I worry that the buckles may dig into his chest a bit. I bought the matching leash and it is way too long for walking a small dog, but is very comfortable on my wrist (the fleece) and the set is really attractive.
