It is obviously a higher quality oil, but it's way too expensive, and it's not as good for you as a lot of people seem to think. It's still oil, and it's still high in fat.

Olive oil is really high in anti-oxidants. Anything cooked with olive oil tastes better than anything cooked in any other kind of oil. It makes everything taste better.

An excellent cooking oil, high smoke point, and is either neutral tasting or adds a subtlety depending on the use.
