Firefly

This show was awful, and very boring and over rated and over regarded-it was right for FOX to cancel this turkey!

I'm not a Sci-fi geek, but Firefly almost has changed my mind if it weren't canceled so early. From just the TV episodes that reached the audience and the later movie they filmed, Firefly was a pleasant surprise one episode after another. Not only the actors had such a great on-screen chemistry and did their parts brilliantly and appropriately, the scripts were clever and well-written. I enjoyed Firefly more than just a Sci-fi series, and perhaps that's why it attracted me so much in a non-geeky kind of way.

I'll stop short of calling myself militant, but this show was certainly worth more than a one year run. I wish FOX had given it a better time slot and a better chance to survive.

Maybe not the best show, but certainly the best written science fiction series of all time, and arguably in the top 10 best written television shows of all time. The precise uncompromising dark humor, the subtle politics, the nuanced character development, and just a lot of fun with some very dark topics made for a series unfortunately too far ahead of its time to last.

This one season sci-fi show was better than Star Wars and Star Trek combined.

I never quite understood the reverence some geeks have for it, but to be a geek is to know a Firefly geek or two. They are militant at best...

One of the best shows on television, by the writer of Buffy, destroyed by a moronic network that couldn't figure out how to schedule it.
