The Chevy Chase Show

Chevy Chase is a smarmy mope and he is funny only in rather limited situations where the script can use his persona. To try to act like a normal human being is beyond his ken.

This show was so awful that I'd almost- almost- rather hang out with Mike Holly, Sukings, and Souljunkie at a lint convention.

I bet the suit that green-lighted this abortion is waiting tables or driving a cab these days.

Chevy Chase is a great actor but many people didn't like him as a talk show host. All I heard during the summer of 1993 was how big the Chevy Chase Show was going to be. One writer said that the only way that Chase would fall on his face was if it was written in the script. He was wrong.

Unfortunately Mister Chase's talk show flopped. It was cancelled after only five weeks. I give the Chevy Chase Show a 3 star rating.

Poor Chevy.....Hey, he tried lol.  I still love him
