We just moved from Florida. Just moved in to our new home. Our AC went down. (Compressor) Our so called home warranty company would not cover anything at all!!! Apparently it was due to lack of maintenance. I called Cyprus and they helped fight my warrenty company. I was able to get back $1200 from the home warrenty company and I did not used there so called contracters. (white unlettered truck with technician with no uniform) We purchased a brand new Carrier Infinity system from Cyprus and it has been the best system that I have ever experienced. The bells and whistles on this thing are awesome. We are able to push a button on the thermostat and it lets me tell the system how much air I want coming out of the vents either high medium or low(Just like in my car) Cyprus Air has been nothing but Great to work with and I will reccomend them to all my friends.

In 2004, I had a water leak in my AC unit and was told that I could have it fixed or replace the entire HVAC unit which will save on energy bills in the long run and cool down my house more efficiently. They said that they would replace my HVAC unit with Carrier but I ended up getting HEIL. What a rip off - I thought I was getting a named brand product but I got an inferrior product. Don't trust these people. The product is noisy and can not effectively cool down my house (85 upstairs and 83 downstairs when outside temp is at 90 degrees). If you like being lied to and wasting money, call Cyprus Air Heating and Cooling located in Alexandria, VA. You are in for some rude awakening. I just paid $5,000 to replace the unit that was installed by Cyprus Air in Alexandria. If they said that their work is guaranteed - HA HA!!

They came out when they said they would. The technician was very knowledgeable. Before the technician left my heat was working. Would Recommend A+. They have been the only HVAC company I have been using since I bought my house. My parents used them when I was a kid so I am continuing the family tradition.

I went to Cyprus Air for a gas insert for our fireplace. As soon as I walked in the door and told the salesperson I was interested in a gas insert, he said "no, i think what you want are gas logs." He sold me on the "Cyprus Campfire" a gas log set that is designed exclusively for Cyprus Air. After returning home and thinking about it more, I thought, I DO want the gas insert and at this price, I want what I want. Have attempted to cancel but am being told I will have to pay a 20% restocking fee. This company has performed no service, no items were pulled from stock, no one came to my home. Basically, I was talked into an item where they have a much larger profit margin. An item I do not want. And, now they want to charge me almost $800. Shady, shady people. Beware.

I am posting this because I think that everyone should know this and I am surprised that TRANE has not taken Cyprus Air's authority to distribute their product away. I had Cyprus Air install a new AC and heating unit. The installation was good. I guess I was given a fair price. It was not until the heating unit went out and I needed a repair that there was a problem. The technician/co-owner arrived at my house to do the repair and he immediately started in on what all technicians do with products that are under warranty. He complained that the unit was dirty and that it was all our fault that the unit broke and that it most likely would not be covered by the warranty. I was expected this because I have dealt with the home warranty scam before. Well, he fixes the unit, tells me that he is going to allow it to be covered under the warranty, and then proceeds to charge me $82 for the labor. Thing is the warranty covers labor and parts. I informed him of this and told him that I was not go... Read more

Called in for emergency service and my a/c was back on and functional by the afternoon. With this hot and humid weather this service from them was a lifesaver
