Greater Swiss Mountain Dog

This is a great dog. They are very loving, guardian dogs but they need a good owner. They are smart, so easily trainable but their master has to be confident and know what he wants. They are more difficult to raise than bernese mountain dogs because they are very active when they are young (till 3-4 years) and need a lot of attention. They love other dogs and people so everybody loves them. :) I wouldn't recommend them for a first time dog owner but they are diffinitely awesome dogs!

this is a hard working breed of dog, full of energy and spunk. They are loyal and loving as well as gardians and workers. A great breed of dog.

Absoutely a Wonderful Large breed dog. My Husband and I looked far and wide for a breed of dog that would be compatible with the Cockers. This dog is absolutely the best Large breed dog I ever owned. He is Gentle, Loving, Grat with kids and other dogs and Easily Trained. I will own another.
