Personally, I find these to be the best. I have gone through 3 different brands of skates, and these are by far the most durable and hold their speed well.

The 2001 Vapor 6 skate is great... best skate ive ever had... wen i got them i had them thermal fit and after my first game with them i only had 1 blister.... After a year of using them i only had to get my blades replaced from getting them sharpened 2 times a week from skating everyday ... but its better than buying new ones... They rele are good skates... lite ... and durable .. you shouldnt have problems

The vapor 10 ice hockey skates are awsome. I have seen a big change in how fast i am. These skates are well worth the money because they have made me a better skater and i have only had them for 2.5 months. I am now one of the best players on my AA team because my speed has improved so much.

The bauer vapor 8-10 is great and if you dont like it than you are not good or you know very LITTLE about hockey. Pavel Bure is one of the NHLs best player and he loves them just like i do so f u.

Dude, i'm going to put it this way... Vapor 10's are by far the best skates i have ever... had. I have had Vapor 8's, Graf 705 techno waves, ccm 1152, Graf Black Widows, and some other ones... and by far 10's are best. i weighed in at 140 im a sophmore at the academy of holy angels in minnesota, i have over 45 points in 24 games... i am by far the best skater.. of us all not the bext player but im a natraul skater... the only thing i have had go wrong on my skates are my laces snap like every 10 games... and syNergy's kick ass!

I've been using these skates for about three weeks, and I like them as a good starter skate. One incident I had was with the third wheel on both chassis- the manufacturer tightened the bolt too tight, and I had to drill it out. I then replaced it with some new bolts. The boot is very light and has some good offset wheels.

Its okay if you want a skate that won't last you a whole year. The Vapor 8 ice skate is total crap. I've only had the skate for a month and already the blade holder is cracking. The Skate is so light, yet so not durable. That is just the Vapor 8 (98 model.) The 2000 version of the Vapor 6s' are the best skate, They do not have the new blade with cuts in it and they added the fast break in things on the side and it is lighter then the vapor 8s yet no as light as the vapor 10's. I heard the 2002 Vapor 12's will not have the black blade with cuts in it.

The wheels run out fast. The skates are heavy and clunky. Too expensive for what you get.

The Bauer Vapor line is great! Having worked in a hockey pro shop for two years, I got to try out many different kinds of hockey skates. The vapor series provides lightness and durability along with needed stiffness for ankle support. The vapor 8 is the skate that I personally use and it is the best fitting skate that I have had so far.
