Big, strong, tough when he had to be, and highly skilled, Robinson was the face of the fabled Montreal Canadiens defense in the mid '70s.

Behind him and Savard and the rest of the Habs defense, the Montreal net was no more than a rumour to opposing teams as they lost only 8 regular season games all year.

Soft spoken anchor of the Montreal Canadiens blue line during their 1970's glory years and a regular solid contributor to the various incarnations of Team Canada during the late 70's and 80's. A perrenial All Star and winner of six Stanley Cups.
