    There was a time when his staunch viewpoints from his faith based perspective would provoke reactions ranging from outrage - to avid debate - to mockery among the community, especially the cabal of wise asses who made a habit of baiting people who would espouse their devotions. A charge to which I would have to plead guilty. Sometimes he would get wound up and come out swinging. Sometimes he would come off as a pious ass. Sometimes he'd play the victim, and usually he'd give as good as he got. It was mostly amusing, though admittedly mostly at his expense; and he clearly didn't care for the way he was treated. But he stuck at it for a lot longer than any reasonable man would endure. And he appeared to be fully aware of the dynamic at play. Some suspected that martyrdom was his gig.     I looked at his posts and he had a serious troll problem.  On countless completely sober and logical posts he would get a load of funnies and nothing else.  That is an abuse of the system and a disgrace.He pissed lots of people off, I know, but the system should be the system.  A good posting should be acknowledged and not disparaged because of personalities.
