No, not usually, in my opinion. They normally take pride in being the "correct" minority.

A lot of them do but I have been aware of a few that like to play up the underdog role; a part of the beginning of a movement that will grow across the nation. I remember Michael Moore making the claim that he spoke for the majority of Americans and that he was the voice of mainstream America. I think if most people in America had their say about Michael Moore, it would be that he needs to shut the hell up.
