AAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!

One of the most horrific memories of my late teens was having a girlfriend who would crank this god-accursed thing up every time it came on the radio.

oh gosh here come the disagrees. but i never have liked this song. maybe because when it came out it was played on the radio way too much so I got very sick of it fast. I know there are those huge fans of this song. not me.

For me, this should really go under the heading of guilty pleasures. Yes, I know what the general opinion of this song is...yet, I like it, and don't ask me to explain why, because I can't. Sometimes there is just no accounting for taste!

Most rock and pop music in this particular year became so hideously bad that 1974 is no longer a year, it has been stricken from the record like Pluto or an Egyptian pharaoh, it has devolved into something mothers and fathers will frighten their misbehaving kids with, and annals will now read something like this:

1971
1972
1973
1975
