He's had a good career. His voice is barely discernible from Dylan's. The songs I like from Petty include: "I Won't Back Down," "Refugee," and "Learning to Fly." "Free Falling" so overplayed and I'm sick of it.

My respect for U2 has grown over the years. I used to think that their music was boring, but my tastes have evolved and I appreciate Bono and the gang a lot more now. Unfortunately, their recent efforts haven't been notable, but that doesn't negate their glory days--spanning from the early '80s well into the '90s. Great band.

America has just committed one of the biggest blunders in its history. George W. Bush is a raging ignoramus. His atrocious public speaking skills coupled with his dogmatic political agenda are reason enough to get him out of office. Obviously, the indoctrinated American public found it advantageous to continue their plunge into an abyss of awful decisions that are made with regard only to those in the top echelon of the socio-economic scale. Simply a disgrace.

An incredibly different tone than their overwhelmingly punk sounding 1977 debut album. This showed the incredible influence Jamaican reggae had on the Clash's music at such an early stage in their career. Great tune.

This one irks me quite a bit. I have to say that in some instances in driving on I-287 in New Jersey I've been driving upwards of 75 MPH and around 80, only to have people tailgate me within seconds...that's a little scary, but even if you are obeying the posted speed limit, keep to the right or move over after you've passed someone.

A certain fix to not be a contender this year. They've deteriorated in both their pitching and offensive production. They are in a bad division so have a shot at the playoffs, but are not going to be a part of the Fall Classic.

I agree completely with potch1214. It is a game of great intellect in which there are always situations in which you should do a certain play, etc. You must understand the intricacies to completely comprehend the American pastime.

With the juggernaut that is the New York Yankee projected lineup in 2004, it would be stupid not to pick them to win the Series this year. The offensive production will be there, that is a given. A big question mark will be the pitching. It was definitely a mistake to have let Andy Pettitte go, he was their best big-game pitcher in this unforgettable run of greatness that they've experienced. Leiber, Contreras, Javier Vasquez, Mussina, Kevin Brown--these are all guys that have had success in the past in starting rotations. Their bullpen is looking decent with the addition of Quantrill and Tom Gordon to go along with Steve Karsay returning after a season of injury and the always-reliable Mariano Rivera closing it out. I'm excited to watch another season unfold of my favorite team and the greatest in baseball (which will hopefully come to fruition in late October with a World Series victory).

I certainly hope not after Clemens claiming his career had ended and going to Houston. It was the Yankees' fault that they lost Pettitte to free agency there (an irresponsible move by Steinbrenner to allow the league's most consistent pitcher since 1995 walk away), but Clemens went back on something he had vehemently asserted last season.
