Thanks weevol for that link! (http://www.edcollins.com/stratego/stratego-rule-variations.htm )... it's just what we (and the game) needed. I agree with PBeavr... and the part that sucks is you die verrry-verrry slowly. It's like attending a funeral.

I have to admit, I was impresed with this game. It's not the usual chase game... you can actually work together with opponents or target specific players - but make sure everyone playing knows the rules (all of them) and it's better with a full set of 4 people.

the thought of earning millions of dollars (and dozens of kids)is fun... but life goes on. Maybe if there was more strategy involed, it would be more realistic.

If you ever really wanted to get to know someone, this game is for you because it shows the true nature of the players (and gives you plenty of get-to-know-you time). You'll be best friends (or worst enemies) by the end of it!
