I'm a guy from Tampa, Florida/United States
About me: Socially liberal, political centrist who strives to utilize plain-spoken common sense as a primary intellectual aviator. Frequently for many, I am not easy to pigeon-hole, and I certainly prefer it that way. My personal creed has often been, "defy definition," at least whenever humanly possible.

While a bit on the small side, it always satifies my craving for a candy bar or otherwise unhealthy type of food...called "America's Original Nutrition Bar."

Filling, tastey and substantial, can substitute for a meal if necessary.

During the mid-90's I worked as a bike messenger for several yrs in the inner city...On a positive note it was great exercise, though every day seemed like I was cheating death, with more close calls than I care to remember. I'd come home each night with car exhaust caked beneath my eyes, and with a weary understanding that I was fortunate to make it through another day...

An early top 40 hit for Jett, the lyrics for this Blackhearts classic speak for themselves:

"When you were down they were never there...you got nothing to lose, you don't lose when you lose fake friends."

Indeed!

When asked if she had any regrets in her life, Eleanor Roosevelt replied, "Only one...that I wasn't prettier."

Second oldest covergirl ever featured in Playboy (August 2001), and sexy as hell I might add. After all these years, she's still got the goods.

Why oh why are some people so obsessed with such childish topics? Are their personal lives that uneventful?

The original tennis babe, brought femininity and grace into a sport long dominated by tomboys. At the time, her all-American good looks and upstanding public demeanor earned her the nickname "Chris America" by some in the media. Although she didn't look the part - she wasn't a jock - she certainly played the role of champion, both on and off the court, as well as any player in the history of the game. Five stars.

From Jett's little-known and best album (the aptly titled "Glorious Results of a Misspent Youth"), "Fustrated" snarles its way through three raw minutes of cynical, bitter teenage angst. "I got rockets in my sockets but I got no place to go...and then I wake up in the morning and reality really blows." Who hasn't felt this way?

More than mere song, this tune's a veritable rock n roll anthem. The track epitomizes punk rawk in both attitude and spirit, and the words & music are a perfect fit. Further, the background vocals add that little something extra, as Jett shouts from her soul amidst a wall of heavy, slashing buzzsaw guitars.
