Probably the most interesting short news and documentaries you could ask for, this site of course does no justice to the informative magazine it originates from. It will wet you whistle though. For the most part, no hype, just facts, although like any other, believe none of what you hear and half of what you see. Don't take it for granted because something's been around for awhile it means you can trust all the context. Great for history lovers as well as geography buffs.

This is the site most of my relatives and friends went to after Movie Forumz closed up. That was the best movie site I ever used and it's sad to see it go but I understand that the authorities wanted them to either disclose all the names and info about the people who uploaded all the videos so they could look into each case and bust them or they had to close down. I know that every artist working in the entertainment field has a right to make money on what they produce. I kind of stand on middle ground. I never uploaded a film of any kind illegally but I don't see any reason to not use what someone already put there free for you. I believe this will happen to more and more of these free video sites that have newer material and do not charge and pay the artists. This site has many new titels from 2008 and some of them are very popular. I will not use the site because you do need to download software. I prefer not to do that although friends all tell me it is safe and they never had any trouble. I did, however go in to check out the titles before adding it to my blog list. Since I must rate this only on the things I heard from others I thought it best to go for a middle rating.

They have paid rentals and some freebies. The freebies are not many and what there is to choose from is not all that great, except sometimes over the hollidays. Their own animated Christmas specials were pretty unusual. Since they do belong to the site company, those are ones you will not find anywhere else. What's cool is that you can pick a film to watch and make it a public room or invite friends to join you in a private room so you can chat about what you're watching and so on. You can freeze the pic and take breaks and you can schedule the movie for a later time if you want.

Granted, I didn't get to looking through the entire site but I did find " Caught on Video " to be interesting. Let me warn you that at least most of the ones called movies are really just trailers. A few of the " Stupid Videos " were okay I guess. All in all, not one of my favorites and that means I probably won't spend too much time checking it any further. Anyway, we all have different taste so it might suit your fancy more than mine. :(

Not too big on this program. It's a little too crass for me. Rather than sarcastic I find it closer to cynical. Aside from that the picture qualiity was okay. I watched it now and then over the years just to keep up with the latest in hot topics.

Some are good quality and some are not so. It depends on where they are pulling them from I suppose. They do have a few I couldn't find located elsewhere. I guess I'll check it out further another time but for now there seems too many others that are better. It's still alright though.

I watched " PennyWise " which had just been archived a few hours before I tried out the site. http://www.livevideo.com/liveshow/PennyWise Quality of screen was half decent but there is no way to enlarge it. The movie, for not being exactly new, was pretty spooky and had an unusual twist. Surprised I haven't seen it before. If you register first you can chat with other viewers. I didn't go to the trouble for my first time in the site. I may do that some other time. You can also drag and drop profiles into boxes at the top to see them on screen while chatting. Interesting enough. I'll check them out again now and then.

I found this site a few months back and can't find enough good to say about it. It has a little of everything. It streams from all over the world. It comes to you in various languages. The best way to get started here is to adjust it to your country, of course so you will get it in English unless you have other national preferences or like me, ocassionally enjoy listening to your programsin other known languages. In my case I do this in order to keep improving my Spanish. Being as it does stream, be aware you may tune into a program already in pregress and therefor possibly miss part of it. I have found some very unusual episodes and news among other things. One of my favorites is the classical music vids. Not made quite the way newer ones are with all work done simultaneously but by putting classical music to narrated facts and famous paintings, it's a cool way of showing off a rich cultural and historical sort of display. This is an awesome site. Every time I tune in I find something I didn't know was there before. Pretty cool.

The best teleteacher I ever had the pleasure of listening to and won't beg for your last buck. Teaches The Word chapter by chapter and verse by verse and doesn't sugar coat all the stuff that's difficult to deal with. Just plain truth!
