Must you be from Florida to be a part of this? I have much I think I could add even beyond thier "overdraft protection" and yes I lost hundreds to that, even after having it removed. But MANY other issues along those lines. Is it possible this could be expanded to a scope bigger than Florida? I believe it would be to everyones benefit, including your own. And no sorry, I have accounts a 4 different banks and NONE of them act as incompetently and goes to the extreme measures to take your money as Regions. Amazingly enough some banks actually make thier money by taking the money they are BORROWING from thier customers ( those are called saaaavings accounts, Cds etc.... and use that money to make prudent investments that bring a higher rate of return, thereby making a profit and actually leaving thier customers financially better off for the PRIVLEDGE of BORROWING thier money. AND I know this is hard to belive, but some even treat thier customers with some level of respect and dignity even if they do make a mistake...... like a customer should be.

Well aren't you special..... Maybe you should try actually reading what people have written entirely, not just one or 2 and see that alot of it is about more than overdrafts. Apperently you missed reading the ones about direct incompetence? Mishandling of international charges, them lying to people and many more......... Oh but then I guess you didn't need to read them...... As You already know everything about the banking industry. What a self-righteous moron.

Yes, and you have worked for Regions for how long? Just like the rest of the companies stance...... It's your right to take anything you can and keep anything you can twist to justify, and it's always the customers fault. Ya know, banks used to make thier money by borring money from thier customers (I.E. a savings account) and pay those people a fair rate of interest for its use. then the bank took that money and invested it into prudent higher paying investments to turn a profilt. Now its a matter of "we get our hands on your money, your not gettin it back unless we can find no possible way of B.S. a justification to keep it. Question.... has ANYONE on here (besides the 5 star rating regions employees) actually come out ahead in any way shape or form or wound up financially better off by putting thier money in Regions hands??

Has anyone noticed a trend in all the things people have written..... anyone who attempts to leave Regions.... it doesn't seem to ever be a matter of going and withdrawing thier money, it's going and paying thier balance/fees.... and then getting more bills later. Isn;t that what your supposed to think of when you put money in the bank? I remember when I was a kid and my mother foolishly taught me that putting money in the bank was the way to save it and yeah, actually earn money from doing so. LMAO!!!!

And it probably won't be the last.... they have to suck every last penny before they let you get away. nice thank you gift for all your years with them huh?

Don't think about it, DO IT. Why wait for thier next screw up and whatever it may cost you. Change now and avoid thier problems. It might take a little time to do now, but it will save you alot of time and money in the end. Get as far away from regions as possible!!!

Oh and Thomas if you get an ear at CNN or somewhere, I'm with ya. I;ve DEFINITELY got a story to tell. Regions imcompetence leaving me ( a single disabled father of 2) and my children broke and penniless over christmas by screwing up and allowing fraudulent charges to take all the money out of my account, and then running me arounf lying to me about what they would do, and people going to call me to help etc... and doing nothing, then when I tried to go up higher to a regional manager being told they werre all on an early Christmas vacation and would not DARE to be disturbed with my problems!!! I'm working on that. I actually even had someone higher up in thier organization, that worked for a Vice Pres. Her name was Latasha White tell me when I contacted them over them screwing up and not canceling a card when they were supposed to and charges being made, that I should file with Visa so they could pay for it. Basically telling me to defraud a different company so they didn't have to pay for thier own mistakes!! Its time to take it to them. Something HAS to be done. Crooked organization run by crooked people. Starts at the top and flows down. I'm figuring out how to handle them legally, and in the meantime hitting every place I can detract cusomers from them.
