Ok MAJOR correction: I think this goes down a lot smoother with Grey goose and smirnoff or with Pearl and Chopin. Translation: Leave Ketel One alone when you drink this, it's way too bitter to have a mixer added to it that's bitter by definition. I've only had a few of these, and I had to REALLY be in the mood for them. Some people I know get these just because they are simple drinks, I don't get that. Now if you're trying to impress someone, that might actually work, if you happen to like the brand of vodka that you chose. and that IS more important when impressing people than getting the high class brands; getting one you enjoy as you drink it. I'm not going to Try comparing this to Gin and Tonic. those don't belong in the same comment.
Do people agree with me NOT to get flavored vodkas when tonic is the mixer? It seems almost a given to me. But if you have one you think works, let me know and I'll join in the experience. I mean that I'll try it too. (wink) What, of the more common varieties and brands of vodka, did I not mention?
...This review was up here fas it is for three months. So I'm of the inclination that I didn't miss any of the more popular brands. But seriously. DOES tonic work with flavored vodkas? i've tried a few since then of course, but what's the feeling out there? And for that matter, what are the thoughts on proportion. This paragraph might sound like it belongs in 'comment' section. I put it here to ensure readability, if not response-ability.
