Outstanding, absolutely stellar cartoon program. The challenge here for me is to avoid rambling on too much.... The show is about a group of five fairies, called the Winx Club, fighting against three evil witches, the Trix sisters, who want to rule the universe. The main fairy, Bloom, has lived on earth her whole life, but may not be from there. Where she's from, and what powers she has, exactly, are questions on Bloom's mind, and questions she wants to solve. The Trix sisters, on the other hand, already know about Bloom and her powers, and want to steal her powers for themselves, as they are more powerful than Bloom understands. Bloom's Winx Club friends help in the fight against the Trix sisters: Stella, the shallow, fashion-obsessed girl with great intuition; Tecna, the highly intelligent geek who does not understand emotions; Flora, the sweet, mature, understanding girl; and Musa, who's pretty much only there to sprout off random slang every now and then. There are also the Specialists, a group of boys training to be warriors, who help the girls out, as well as give the girls some guys to crush on, however inappropriate it feels for Tecna to have a crush. Also Mirta, a good witch-turned-pumpkin who, though not able to do much as a pumpkin, still has her wits, and is still able to help the Winx girls out of some messes. And Bloom's bunny and Icy's stalker duck, there mostly for comic relief purposes, and all in all, you get an absolutely spectacular show: the best cartoon on TV!

It's always nice to say you should take a job you'd enjoy. That making a moderate amount of money doing something you like is better than making a lot of money doing something you hate. It's all well and good, except things don't always pan out that way. Sometimes, you may not be able to do, or at least get paid, doing what you enjoy, and not making any money's not a good option. Hope for the best, but expect the worst; odds are you'll be stuck doing something you hate, and odds are you won't get paid nearly enough for it. It's a shame, it's the way it shouldn't be, but unfortunately is.

The original grocery game on the show, appropriately enough, the Grocery Game. Just buy five products, in any quantity, to get a total from $20.00 to $21.00. A bit of strategy, a bit of knowledge about prices, and a little luck, and you win a nice prize!

It's a pretty fun game, playing off the greed of the contestants, and Let's Make a Deal. There are 4 prices and 3 prizes. The contestant picks 3 of the prices. Two of the prices, always two correct choices, light up with the corresponding price. Then there are only two prices left, and one prize. Leave the marker alone for a chance to win $500 and all three prizes. Switch the marker for a chance to win all three prizes, but not the $500. Course, odds dictate that switching the marker would be correct 75% of the time. Question is, will that possible $500 cloud the contestants' mind....

I suppose the game is fair enough, but of the three big prize games on the show, this is easily my least favorite. It hurts the game majorly that the reveal for the 3 cars is absolutely atrocious: it would be nice if they revealed them in Super Ball!!'s style. For that matter, they don't even play normal car music for the cars, but bland music cues instead. And simply, the game never really gets too interesting unless the contestant makes it to the third car. This game's got nothing on Golden Road. Except the CLANG CLANG WHOOP WHOOP for a win: Golden Road could take a lessone there.

This ain't a favorite of mine. It's sort of like a miniature version of Punch a Bunch, but with 6 holes instead of 50. I'm not particularly fond of the free pick contestants get, either, or for the bland car reveal.

One of the show's all-time classic games. Beloved by many, and still some who can't quite grasp the concept. You get 30 seconds to guess the prices of two prizes, after each guess, Bob tells you if the right price is higher or lower, clues to help you zero-in on the price. Win both prizes also nets contestants an extra $1000! Great execution here, still with the classic analog clock! May it never go digital.

It's an all right game. A bit of strategy involved in deciding which number to get for free. Not too bad a game, but nothing special, either.

It isn't a terribly exciting game, but in all honesty, it's probably degraded more than it deserves. The setup isn't bad, and it has the neat sound effect when the numbers squeeze together. Not to say it's a GOOD game, mind you, but it's really not all that horrible, either.

A pretty fun game. Buy the prize if the price is low, sell the prize if the price is high, nevermind that the concept doesn't make a whole lot of sense (it assumes you already own or don't own something?). Still pretty fun; get into the black at the end of the game to win the prizes, and any money you've made.
