I can't say it makes it worse because my back hurts just about all the time. In fact when I lay on the couch and lean against the back of it my back actually feels better. If growing up means my back is going to hurt more, I don't want to grow up (any more than I have).

UPDATE: In today's world many in the name of religion DO scare me. The truth is they are not doing these evil things for God or in the name of God, they are doing them simply for selfish reasons that only they are aware of. God of course NO WAY condones their acts of murder and destruction. He will one day judge them for these acts and then they will be reminded that they never stood in His (God's) favor.

ORIGINAL MESSAGE: I'm sure some here on RIA consider me a "Religious Fanatic", but I'm not. To have a strong belief in God and a desire to serve him is more of a relationship than what people call religion. I do not have a lot to do with "Religion" so much. There is a difference.

People have passion on RIA for a lot of different things and they stand out. My passion is my faith and my family; if that makes me a fanatic then so be it.

My family are the world to me! I would do anything for them and as most would defend them to the death. I have a beautiful wife, 2 great children and their spouses, and 3 wonderful grandchildren that keep be young. I am truly blessed!!!

I could rate this a 2 or 3. I really do not like the word religion. I have never been one to stand for an idea or a belief that I myself could not feel or truly have a genuine faith in. I do not like church doctrine as I find it binding and restrictive as to what the Lord really wants to show us. I think sometimes we try to put God in a box and make him what we want him to be instead of allowing him to change us for the better. When Christ met with his disciples he spoke to their heart about change, love and helping others. It was fairly simple. We try to make it so difficult and leave church feeling empty. Why, because we didn't invite Christ into His house.
