Can they be any lower than a three?

They have off-again and on-again years...I think the ravens will regress, the browns and the bengals are still the browns and the bengals. Why can't the steelers get 10 wins?

...and no one ever really wants to play the steelers in the playoffs. They tend to be a tough out under any circumstances.

Rock-solid defense in todays offense-addicted nfl. The qb is a year older with some playoff experience. Solid coaching, to be sure. . .

They still should reign supreme in the west division. . .

It's really up to the qb. Defenses have had an offseason to ajust to the new/hot/young qb's and now the chess game really begins. How will Kapernick perform with defensive coordinators having months to prepare for him?

This team is a solid playoff choice and a decent super bowl contender.

College coaches in their first year do not make prolific runs to the super bowl. And college coaches have spotty records (at best) in the NFL.

And I don't trust middle-aged men named "chip"...

The Eagles have talent, but I don't buy the 'experts' - no one knows what to expect from the birds. Unsettled at the qb position, a suspect defense (putting it mildly), and a new regime suggests a rebuilding year. I'm whiffing a 7-9 season in a declining nfc east.

But two stars is an appropriate rating...the eagles offensive line (decimated last year) could have two pro bowlers and have a great year. Solid running backs and recievers...their offense could have some games that are track meets. There is talent - but I see no reason for a super bowl run.

The cowboys have been in a weird tailspin since they fired Bill Parcells.

As long as jones is the gm, this team won't win anything...smart cowboy fans are worried - jerry jones is becoming dangerously close to al davis territory of bungling owners.

Jones is too much of a player's guy...he doesn't like coaches to have power. He thinks he's the smartest guy in the room. The cowboys have won one playoff game in thirteen years - and they beat a weakened and injured eagles team. At present, they have talent - but average coaching... it's an 8-8 season at best.
