BUYER'S BEWARE!!!! Although I spoke to the dealership several times to ask detailed questions about the vehicles condition since I would be driving 4.5 hours to see/purchase...I ended up being caught in a typical bait & switch. Vehicle description on website states "fantastic shape" and "you have to see it for yourself." Here's what I saw when I arrived to inspect the vehicle. Several large dings and dents in both drivers side doors; key scratch the length of the front fender and both drivers doors; several front/rear bumper paint scuffs/scratches; paint chips on door edges, rubber moldings missed or damaged; no rear spare tire/wheel; 3 matching tires and 4th not - those 3 were cracked and dry rotting; undercarriage very very rusted and corroded (for only having 42k miles); missing interior center console for second row seating, very soiled/stained carpeting and door panels; torn leather headrest in 3rd row seating...there's more but you get the idea. The vehicle had new PA inspection and did drive well and all other mechanical/electrical items were in working condition. I was very surprised at the poor vehicle condition based on the mileage, website description and verbal info provided by the dealer over the phone. I was told also it would not be ready until Friday/Saturday as they were installing a new piece of fender molding which was damaged, but I offered to put a $500 deposit to hold the vehicle until it was repaired so I could see it then. After coming on Saturday, seeing the condition and refusing to buy the vehicle (I had bank check in hand...), I was advised the deposit was not refundable because they lost "at least" two sales because they "held" the vehicle for me on deposit (even though it was damaged and being repaired). I was never told the deposit could not be refunded. They tried several price negotiations to try to convince me to take the vehicle or forfeit my $500 deposit, none of which I accepted. The final offer was $3000 off the list price. In my eyes there was just way too many question marks with the vehicle to be comfortable purchasing it even at that heavy discount. They again refused to refund my deposit and I left the dealership empty-handed and drove home 4.5 hours. As stated - BUYERS BEWARE!!!
