I have had an account with Commerce Bank for over 22 years. I think they are a Great Bank. Commerce has adapted and changed (I didn’t always like the changes at first, but after getting used to them I like them all) with the times and technology. I have always received great customer service either on the phone or in person at one of the branches. Thank you for the wonderful service Great Job Commerce – Keep up the good work.

Terrible bank. They will purposely mess with your "pendings" and "posted" to cause overdraft fees. When discussing this with a customer service rep, she got caught up in their own lies and changed the story multiple times. This bank is criminal. Go to a credit union, cause Commerce is not the way to go.

Over my last ten years as a Commerce customer this bank has gone from great to terrible. Customer service sucks, you have to pay them to store your money there so they can make a profit off it, and they offer no incentives whatsoever to account holders besides a slightly longer business day. Many years ago I loved this bank, but now they're just a bunch of greedy, greasy, uncaring, lowlife scum. I take the use of the word "hate" very seriously, but I can easily say I hate Commerce bank with a passion I have for very few things ever to have come into my life. My life is worse from having been exposed to Commerce Bank. If you are ever stuck with Commerce Bank as your only banking option, do yourself a favor and stuff your cash in a paper sack under your mattress. You'll get exactly the same benefits and it won't cost you any fees.

Once upon a time, this bank was an awesome bank. I think the name was Commerce? It really was the most convenient bank until it became TD Bank. This bank is AWFUL. The policies changed; they now charge you an overdraft fee for purchases made with your card, even if it was used at a gas station and gas stations almost always just preauthorize and don't charge the whole amount right away. I also have to wait too long now on the phone for customer service if I want to speak to someone, while service was pretty quick when it was Commerce Bank. At one point my money was unavailable for a full day, so I was walking around broke even though I had a good a mount of money on my account. That day was SO inconvenient. The way that deposits were handled has changed...it is all HORRIBLE. I hate this bank so much. I'm actually searching for a new bank and was reading reviews, and that's how I came across this. I don't know who had the "fabulous" idea of buying or merging (whatever) this bank; Co... Read more

Commerce Bank is big enough that you don't get charged a lot (if any) extra fees of any kind on your checking and savings accounts, and it has lots of locations. It's still small enough (A midwest bank) that you get good personal service. Never had any problems with Commerce Bank.

    1) Online banking: you can not transfer money wirelles as i usually do in a third world country as Brazil. What Commercebank do is actually write a check that I can do by myself. What is the advantage of such online banking, if it will cost me the same amount of days to pay somebody else by check??? Third world country banks ( i am talking about poor people of Brazil) wirelles money transfer occurs in just one second!!! How is this is impossible in USA??? 2) Online staments are not reliable: A made some purchases because my online statement said i was positive. How was my surprise the next day when i discovered thar purchases actually were made when my real statement was in negative ( overdraft) and commercebank did not told me before??? 3) The finance assistant who i talk to just told me: It is your problem and this is the system and it is not reliable. What kind of bank is this that tells your costumer that their service is not reliable and it is your problem you had chosen them?? ... Read more

There should be a special place in hell for this miserable bank and the human scum running it. Can't wait to see them go out of business one of these years.

If there was an option for zero stars, I would've given them that rating, but one star is the lowest I can go. The customer service is horrible, they don't come across as people, just mechanical beings out to get your money. I wonder if they get some kind of bonus for how many fees they impose on their clients. I was charged fees for my more than free checking account and after bringing that to their attention, they took 90 days to solve the problem and then they only refunded half of my money while barely acknowledging their error and not apologizing at all. I am extremely dissatisfied with this bank and would not recommend it to anyone.

Ok. I used to love Commerce Bank. Until I started working there. Commerce is now TD Bank. NO it is not TD Banknorth. No it was not bought out. There will be no more Commerce and no more TD Banknorth. They MERGED to TD Bank. I work at the busiest Commerce/TD in the Country. The lines are so long, because there are too many customers! The tellers are indifferent because they don't hire enough people because they are cheap. We are also indifferent because we are paid so cheaply. We are paid 50% LESS that every other bank in the US. And we do 250,000 more transactions in a month. As a teller, I get yelled at more than once a day for things beyond my control. I like Commerce/TD as bank, as a customer. But I am starting to very much hate working there.

I need help and I admit that. My anger has gotten very bad and my anxities are off the charts. I have tried all aveneues yet there are not many good therapist. She was a good one but she abandoned me. I wish she could still help me. I would be ok with a therapist help. I hope that somehow she can contact me? I used to believe in human beings that they were good but I am losing hope. I miss that support and that care. Why do people have to live their lives like this? I have agrophobia, anxiety disorder, depression and anger but no way to manage but try on my own. It may be too late for me but please please talk to Vicki to make sure she will not do the same to you. I have beeb severly messed up because of her abandonment. I highly recommend this therapist. I have been seeing her for over a year now and have been completely satisfied with the help she has given me. I am a happier, more well-adjusted, and more self-aware person with improved relationships. She is compassionate and dedicated - a very talented and intelligent therapist. If you are searching for a therapist, I suggest checking her out.

An appeal to the restraining order will be coming soon. The restraining order has affected her ablity to get the mental help she needs. Please be adviced that this web site may be considered evidence. So it is stronly urged to not conduct fake reveiws. Any attempt to communicate with tri county or any other mental agency will be considered. While this bussiness is not under investigation at this time please be aware of the legal ramfications. (I am this patients sister and I am still saddened by these comments below.) Dr Vicki Quigley asked if I could contact her to let her know how she was doing. I tried but Vicki did not sound too friendly so I said I had the wrong number. I really wish Dr Quigley would simply call the patient below and just explain. Is it so hard? This special bond they seemed to have sickened me but apperently Dr Quigley was good for her. orginal comment I heard that she is no longer in business. I hope that it had nothing to do with me. I am sorry for my part... Read more

I started seeing her at a very rocky time in my life, which I imagine wouldn't been to different for someone seeking therapy. I think the most important thing I could say is that she is really dedicated to her clients. She builds a relationship and protects it professionally. I would recommend her to a person who is willing to work really hard and also match her dedication level. Therapy isn't always a walk in the park, but she's there to support you 100% of the time.

Great therapist. Very insightful and talented. Easy to work with. I'm sure it can be difficult to manage so many people with so many mental health issues - it's easy to become a target - but she seems to handle it well. HIghly recommend.

Commerce Bank has poor customer service. Their new slogan should be "the bank that could care less". IN my opinion, Commerce has fallen off a cliff and now is unworthy of my business. COmmerce Bank stinks!

Never had a problem with the bank.  One time I had a question about a charge and I got in touch with a live person almost instantly.  Their banks are warm feeling with employees that actually acknowledge you and are there to offer help.  Hours are amazing!!  Tellers available until 8pm and even open on Sunday!  Plus deposits before 6pm can post next day, can't say that with any other bank that closes at 3pm or 4pm.  Also, they are known for their free coin counting, free lollypops (for the kids), dog treats, & pens.  Also, love their FREE Visa gift card for Christmas in the lovely box.  I am a little afraid that TD Banknorth bought them.  I hope they dont change the Commerce Bank business model that has made it so successful.

Horrible. Their new "Cycle Service Fee" is nothing more than a way to make money off of their poorest customers. And they did it in such a sneaky way! I hate hate hate this bank. Don't trust them with your money.

Sadly, Commerce Bank no longer deserves its self proclaimed "Most Convenient Bank" accolade. After many years of devoted patronage I have closed my accounts. The many benefits once offered to clients have eroded away. Commerce no longer offers monthly $5 reimbursements of ATM fees or free checking with no minimum balance. It is, however, the shocking change from exemplary to very poor customer service that has driven me from Commerce Bank. The lines at Commerce Bank are long and progress slowly. The tellers who were once warm are now indifferent. The call centers' staff is poorly trained and rude. Their website leaves a great deal to be desired in comparison to other banks. Accessibility to personal customer service is unimportant when the service is poor, as it has it become at this bank. Commerce Bank's meteoric rise will be just as quick to fall through the same means responsible for its success; word of mouth. Advice for the remaining clients, don't let the door hit you on the way ... Read more

I have written some reviews that were truthful may have been hurtful. I am sorry. I found out I may have a serious illness. I want to make peace somehow. I really wanted her to be my end of life therapist; if this is the case. It turns out all my symptoms may have a psychical explaintion. My anger, dizziness, and and really do not have many people to help me through this. Everything has a explanation if this is the case. I really appericate all her help. I wish she could have just given me a chance to show her I am not some evil person and the confusion may be because of my illness. I really do not want to die with so much anger towards one person. I hope that if this is serious that I can speak with her one more time. I am truly sorry I am scared. ; I am just ill. I really wanted a therapist but that option has been cut off for me due to a restraining order. I just wish that one therapist can have a heart for me. I may not ever have children or fall in love again. I may not feel the ... Read more

I can't say it's been completely smooth sailing...but the level of customer service and accessibility has been top notch. Open 7 days a week, coin counters at every branch, making banking fun for kids again, well staffed-almost overstaffed counters and floating staff to troubleshoot I have to give the bank a thumbs up.
