As the new design for the profile page isn't exactly perfect but still a major improvement, I'm giving this four stars. For starters, I prefer the larger picture. Prior reviewers have complained about some distortion, but I suppose that this could be corrected by simply cropping a picture to fit the set proportions and upload again. (Of course the same ratio should be set wherever the pics are used.) I also like the general layout and font sizes, but the page as a whole is indeed a bit busy. There are several rarely used links that could be consolidated to a submenu (e.g. edit/delete account, invite friends to join, and managing user blocks) to clean up the page a bit. Other improvements would be showing all of our weblists, listing more trusted reviews, indicating the last login date, having uniform tags, and bringing back the link to the most recent reviews in our weblists.

Although the print is too big and because of the largeness of the font, I find a lot of unnecessary white space and you have to scroll for almost a minute just to get to your weblists unlike the old design (well, scrolling for 1 minute is a gross exaggeration but you get my point!) Well there are advantages and disadvantages. First Ill be a cynic and list the disadvantages. Well it is not compact and you have to spend your whole time scrolling and as another rater pointed out, you have to click 3 times (besides scrolling for another minute) just to look at the rest of the weblists or trusted network where as before you didnt have to do that. Although the picture is bigger, sometimes the bigger picture can actually distort the picture quality. But now on the positive side, overall I like the new design more then I dislike it. Well I like the fact that your options are displayed in bigger writing in a place which is hard to miss eg whether you want to modify your user page etc. An... Read more

It took me a while to get used to it (it's a bit on the "busy" side, and I would like having the option to have a smaller pic (the size makes me a bit self-conscious, so I'd rather go for a non-"me" pic, but I do like a lot of pics in the larger format that some people have up).) The change from "expert tags" to just "tags" is definately a good call. Overall, I think it goes well with the new RIA change.

Another mixed bag - love the new user-pic capabilties, but it seems that load times have increased regardless if you have a big ass user-pic, or not. Also, you have to make two extra clicks to see all of the weblists from some of the more prolifigate list-makers -- this is a BIG drawback in my view. I liked being able to go to a users page and seeing all their lists displayed like you could in the "olden days". I suspect this was done to cut down on the already ungodly load times.

The only BIG problem I am noticing, is the picture. It's nice that it's larger, because some of the ones from the original layout were too small to see...but...I think they're too big now. I had to remove the pictures of me, to pictures of random stuff, because nothing I put up there came out looking right. It was stretched and distorted, and bothered me.

I think the new layout is MUCH better than the old. The pictures finally don't look all distorted.

Sorry but whoever thinks that the pictures look nice must be joking. Yes, some of them do but most of them are stretched and distorted. I hate it because the pictures come out looking terrible.

Somehow,I lost about 8000 helpfuls.Yesterday I had 9144,today only a bit over a thousand.Glad this isn't a bank account! Update:It seems that the lost helpfuls have been found, but I still miss the old format.Maybe I'll grow to like this one,but I thought it was already pretty efficient and was totally satisfied with RIAs format just as it was.

The profile pages look good, but the pictures are a bit too large for the page, and many of them, mine included, are somewhat unclear. Of course, the redesign was rather drastic, but overall, it was a significant improvement. In the long term, it will make the site more user friendly and easy to navigate. Some of us older users are just going to have to get used to some of the changes here! There are still some glitches that need to be worked out. For instance, last night, I got an e-mail saying that I received a new message in my RIA inbox, but I checked it and found no new message there. It's possible that maybe all of us (or just myself) aren't receiving incoming messages. So to whomever sent me that message, I apologize if I didn't read it!

The new profile pages are far and away better than the old. The pictures are clear and the reviewer really seems to have its own page and not just a snippet.

I really like the profile pages. Some of them look especially great, like Ridge's, Armor's, Bee's, and some others. I like how the images are large enough to see, and how they don't stretch and get out of proportion.

Bring back the comments from other reviewers in my weblists feature. Reduce the scrolling involved, by eliminating unused space on the profile. Show all my weblists, and not just the most recent 10.

My biggest complaint isn't the page itself but the photo IDs. It was one thing when the thing only appeared on your own user page but now it's popping up all over the place.. and I don't see the point. Not only that but depending on where it shows up it's got a different aspect ratio and people look either fuzzy, blown up all out of proportion, or like their heads are being stretched either vertically or horizontally. Just strange looking.
