Was never really a fan when it was at the height of it's popularity. Irritating to constantly receive friend requests from random people, bands, groups etc... for the sole purpose of spamming me their content.

At first it was good. But when other social networks emerge like Facebook and Twitter, they suddenly went down. Very sad about them.

Myspace is to easy to tamper with. Very low security

Facebook is better and more well known. It allows you to communicate with others, share links and status updates, share photos, is on most cellphones now, and it allows you to be creative in many ways.

MySpace was very popular until Facebook took over the world of social networking. It can still be used today, but comparing it to other sites, it doesn't hold a candle.

I never used MySpace, so all I have to go on are all the things online making fun of it. Sorry.

Unfortunately to MySpace, Facebook and other sites appeared that seem to be more user friendly. I personally did not like it from the beginning, the feature of listening to music is pretty awesome, but i have always had trouble viewing other profiles, took forever to load or enjoy.

I had an account with Myspace before I even knew about Facebook. I have not accessed my Myspace account in over 4 years. Does anyone still use this site?

8/6/09: MySpace  does have some bugs ("an unexpected error has occurred"), but it's a free website that's well worth the price! Update 11/24/11: Haven't been there for many months. Facebook (with all its faults) has taken over.

Myspace was a hit... back in the year 2000... I'm sorry but.. its time to shut down... it was a good site.. easy to figure out... but facebook has taken the lead..

I prefer Facebook to MySpace - I think the format and design of FB is better than MS and FB is also easier to use.

I would say this was considered as the hot social-networking site before Facebook came. Well anyways Myspace still has bulk of members they can change the way they market their site so that they could level with Facebook.

If this was a few years ago, when I was thirteen and pretending as if I was old enough to have a myspace account, I would have jumped aboard the myspace train. This, alas, is not the case, and the myspace train has long since departed, paving the way for facebook. Myspace has long since sold out, not only have I not logged on it in about 3 years, but the website won't even let me delete my profile.
