10/06/2007 | At first I saw the novelty, but really there is not that much to justify their cause. Their music was funny and is not terrible, but what would the point be of having them in there?

09/29/2007 | While some people think of them as pop, the live version of the Go-Go's rocks. They are great entertainers , and their talent is underrated, as Charlotte Caffey plays keyboards, bass, and drums, in addition to guitar; Kathy Valentine (bass) is actually a killer guitarist and songwriter - she only took up bass because she decided, "I want to be in THIS band." The first all-girl group to write their own music and play their own instruments (very well, I might add), they are still one of the best all girl bands you will ever see. [Some voters plug the Go's friends, The Bangles, but their big hits were written by Prince.]

A pivotal part of my era with some songs that I personally consider classic but not strong enough to get in. They made 2 decent albums and 1 dud in 1985. Then Belinda Carlisle went way too commercial for my tastes. The GoGos released a new album a few years ago which was pretty good but unfortunately it was ignored.

05/04/2005 | Girl group that spawned Belinda Carlisle. Thanks MTV. They were too popular for the product they put out. I can't see them getting in. Either Bananarama, The Bangles, or The Go-Go's. I pick The Bangles, and they aren't getting in.
