Good food but really expensive. It should not cost me $21 for two burritos and two drinks. http://www.abovegroundpools4less.com/

This place absolutely repulses me. People go and get these huge burritos filled with insane amounts of fat and sodium. If you want to kill yourself, this is the perfect place for you, but If you want to keep your tounge (because of all the spices) and stay at your target weight, then DO NOT GO HERE. I have been a couple times and every time it has just been awful.

This restaurant is absolutely the pits!! First, the food was nothing special. And, for a place with high prices, they sure made the portions small. They could at least put enough in the bowl to fill you up -- and they did not! Second, the music was loud and irratating. I could not converse with the person seated directly across from me at a very small table. Every time there was some kitchen noise made -- ice machine or whatever -- it echoed all over the place because of the horrible acustics. Between the God-awful music and screeching, magnified noises, we just couldn't wait to get out of there! Third, the appearance of the place was apalling. To call it "institutional" would be an insult to hospitals and factories. It is as though Chipotle was actually designed to be uncomfortable. Perhaps the motivation is to make it so awful that you will not linger, and make another table available for the next customer. However, on a holiday week-end in a high-traffic tourist area, almost ever... Read more

Good flavor, but the chicken is of the grossest quality. Why does someone have to find skin and fat and grissle in a burrito? Totally incomprehensible. I'm not a big 'chicken thigh' fan and a little bit of effort to remove the fat and skin would go a long way. YUCK! Sorry.

For fast food burritos, they're pretty decent. But the price is a little steep for fast food. I generally prefer Panchero's to Chipotle. Panchero's burritos are a little bigger, a little cheaper, and the tortillas are cooked fresh when you order, instead of being pulled ready made out of a package.

Decided to give them a try after watching Food Inc. and hearing about their approach. Food looked good in the shots. Line feels like standing in line for slob in prison. No explanation for first time customers by staff of choosing options. Had to ask twice about what and how. When choosing the guacamole an added $1.65 is mentioned for this limited amount of guacamole.(Explanation was that it is homemade.) I think this is an outrageous case of false advertising of a burrito for $5.95. Remember there is no chips or beverage included in this meal. Just a burrito. The bowl actually looked even less in amount of food. When complaining about this they completely ignored the comment that this would be the first and last time coming here. Final analysis is that it's nothing special just one of the many places trying to make money ripping people off instead of caring for good customer service and a good product vs. price product.

At least they are not owned by Mcdonalds anymore, but much of their suppliers probably still come from the Mcdonalds family. The food is decent for the price and one burrito usually fills me up but I have to admit I haven't been to a Chipotle for a long time. I would rather go to a sit down restaurant than stand in line and try and communicate to several people in an assembly line how to make my food. Now, I understand that to be a more enlightened person one should learn more than one language etc. etc. and I fully support diversity. But when I am trying to order my food as a customer, I feel it is my right to get what I want. If the people that I am supposed to communicate with (which in this format causes more issues) can' t understand me and I can' t understand them I inevitably never get it exactly how I want it or even understand what my options are. Just saying. All in all not bad, but I prefer sit-down restaurants if I am going to go out for food.

Several times my local Chipotle has offered a free burrito for any student of my old high school. Several times I used an old student ID to score a free burrito. I wouldn't pay for it, and the last time they had the offering I didn't bother going despite the fact the restaurant is within a walking distance. I'd "honestly" would rate it as 3 stars but I feel it needs to be taken down a peg. It's very Americanized, bland, an uninspired. I've gotten better meals out of Taco Bell.

I think I first visited Chipotle 2002-2003. From then, I still continue to habitually stake out the nearest Chipotle, where I always order the exact same thing--large quesadilla with carne asada, side of sour cream, and a regular soda (Coke mixed with lemonade). I could do it every day, forever. Simply amazing!

AMAZINGAMAZINGAMAZING!!!!!!! so Flavorful.... U can make it just how u want it too:) and no. its not like regular mexican food. its way better. five stars isnt enough to rate this. it needs 10. People who think chipotle isnt good, have no taste in food... They prob think Mc Donalds the best or burger king or some horrible FF restaurant like that...

Flavorless food, or what I guess is supposed to be food. Institutional environments in the restaurants that bring to mind prisons or bank lobbies. The outlets of this chain in my area charge a higher price for their crappy fare than the local hole in the wall establishments hawking a much superior product. But, Americans are slobs who couldn't recognize quality if it came up and spit in their faces, so, they'll flock to crapatoriums like this, sheep that they are. Bah, bah...

The carnitas are great considering I can get it in about 5 mins.  The tortillas are kinda rubbery.  The salsa is great but a little spicy.  Living in CA, this is on the more expensive side for burritos.

Chalky Studebaker wins the ignorant comment of the year award. If you don't like Mexicans, stay away from Mexican food. For what it is - a chain - Chipotle Grill isn't bad. I especially like their salad option. Good hot sauce also.

I like that their meat and veggies are organic, and they use partially recycled everything to build their stores. The tacos and burrito bowls are my fave. The margaritas are strong tho!

Really good food, and I simply love the rice. I prefer it on the side. The burritos are too big to eat in one sitting. There is a place here in Springfield Mo that I like a little better because of the salsas,  and Pork Pible; but I like the rice better in here, and Chipotle is open later, and on Sunday.

This place is great. Not in the mood for it all the time but it's great. The Chipotle where I'm at, i used to find wood chips in there.. Which was gross but I don't see any anymore. But the employees still laugh everytime I order guacamole.

Kind of upscale for a fast food Mexican restaurant owned by McDonalds. They try and be environmentally conscious, letting customers know that their animals are treated fairly and they try to buy mostly organically grown beans. My favorite are the 4 hard tacos with pork, topped with the cooked onions and peppers, and some sour cream and hot sauce.

Servings enormous. Close to health food if you watch the cheese! This is a healthy, bargain lunch. Just wish one was closer to my office. Here in Texas the architecture features unpainted, rusting steel which is very cool.

I personally don't know a lot about Chipolte or who owns them and don't really care about all that anyway. I do like what they have to offer, but wish that they would offer a milder corn salsa as I love that, but my tongue can't take it! I live in a small city and we don't have Baja Fresh so can't really compare it to that, but it is better than Taco Bell, lol. My Hubby doesn't like Chipolte at all and says there is nothing special about them and they are overpriced so there ya have it on his word. There burritos are huge and hard to eat since the tortilla is soggy and chewy so I tried the burrito bowl with lettuce and I liked that better, but my co-workers are saying to get the burrito bowl and then get chips and you will be in heaven so I will be trying that the next time I go. I really like the pork the best too.

Chipotle's food tastes fresh and tastes great. Their fajitas are to die for! However, I still wish they offered seafood. A shrimp or scallops fajita would be killer, and would draw me to their store a lot more frequently. Are you listening Mr. Ells/Chipotles execs?

Just to clear everything up. Chipotle was started in 1992 by one man named Steve Ells. McDonalds came in years later as an investor. Chipotle was not McDonalds idea. They have no control over the food, philosphy, marketing, etc. They have however helped Chipotle expand into many different markets. Many of the meats in certain markets are naturally raised - which means the animals Chipotle uses receive no hormones or steroids in their lifetime. Chipotle's culture is based on "Food with itegrity" and sustainable farming. They inspect their farmers themselves to ensure standards are met and the animals are treated humanely.

Very unhealthy for you if you eat a whole burrito, but man oh boy is it ever tasty! This is terrific food, and a brilliant idea by McDonalds. I won't touch a McDonalds with a 10 foot pole, but I'll eat at Chipotle once or twice a month if I can behave (even though it's nearly as bad for you). If you haven't tried one, you should ... that is UNLESS you are not good with disapline and might start eating there every day, which is easy to do. My only complaint: at our local restaurants, I feel like they always give the ladies more meat than they do to the guys! Once in a while a woman will make my burrito and give me a ton of meat, but usually they skimp on it (especially the dudes). Oh well - still more than I can eat in one sitting!
