Gee, they invented skunk. Roughly 85-90% of all music made after 1980 that sucks owes something to the Iggy and the Stooges. This is BY FAR one of the worst inclusions of the RRHOF. Iggy DEFINES Rock and Roll? ROFLMAO ..he is the clown Prince.

Dance to the beat of the living dead!

It's unbelievable the HOF doesn't have the Stooges included. What could be the reason?

Gee, they invented punk. Roughly 85-90% of all music made after 1980 that doesn't suck owes something to the Stooges. This is BY FAR the most egrarious oversight of the RRHOF. Iggy DEFINES Rock and Roll.

Hugely innovative and influential. Should be a given. But he would probably be rude to the nominating committee in his acceptance speech because he has had too wait too long. Might not happen.

May not ever happen, but the Stooges, MC5 and New York Dolls all deserve to join the Velvet Underground as the founding fathers of Punk.

without this band and the velvets, you'd have no punk rock....at least not the good punk rock. i'm sure some corporation still would've come up with Good Charlotte, Sum 41, and Green Day.
