He was a sack monster for a DT. One of the biggest names in the game for years. Great personality.

Worthless as a human being. Nearly just as worthless on the field the last couple years. Overrated because he's a mouthy bastard. Even back in his days at Tampa Bay, I'd say Anthony McFarland was the better DT. McFarland is just as fast as Sapp, stronger, and is more sound in his playing technique, specifically wrapping up when tackling. On top of that, McFarland won't make a complete ass out of himself on the mic. Too bad Sapp's punk ass sells jerseys for some reason.

Sapp was formerly a 5 in my opinion, but his ability to contribute on the field has dropped off significantly since moving to Oakland. I don't know how long he will stay around, but if he retired now he would still be known as a great player who helped the Bucs win a Super Bowl.

Way overrated from day one. He comes from Miami and he runs his mouth non stop. That's the only reason people think he's great for some reason.

Sapp is a racist, a bully, and a loud-mouthed fool who will likely find himslef in big trouble if he doesn't learn how to behave in a civilized fashion. The resaon that no one else interrupts other teams warmups, abuses officials and takes cheap shots is because they realize that this game requires integrity and a certain code of ethics. And that sums up Warren Sapp, his ethical code is easily visible to all.

i cannot believe warren sapp compares himself to being a slave owned by the league. playing football in the nfl is a job. nothing more, nothing less. i hear his disappointment in the way he is being treated by the league commissioners. well warren, if your unhappy in your job, get another job, or transfer. you make millions of dollars a year. you are famous and infamous in this great nation. try finding another job making that kind of money playing a sport that you love. i don't think it is possible mr sapp. look at the rest of the world and see how good you have it. just play football and keep your big mouth shut. your very disrespectful to your co-workers and the rest of america. you have more opportunities than 95 percent of america. i don't want to hear your crying about justice. you are treated more than fare. when police, school teachers, firemen and nurses make $35,000 a year for working 40 to 60 hours a week for 50 weeks out of the year and i hear warren sapp complain about jus... There are 2 things that define a slave - 1)they cant quit 2)they don't recieve compensation. Sapp makes millions and can (and I wish he would) leave the NFL. His ridiculous comments are a huge insult to his ancestors and to every working person in this country who gets out of bed to do a job they hate because they have to. He is like a 10 year old with ADHD - how can someone be so stupid and such a complete jerk while have millions in the bank? what does he have to complain about? he is compensated WAY more than what he is worth. To all the disgruntled overpaid athletes out there - you owe everything you have to the fans. Without them your skills are meaningless and you are penniless.

It hurts to hear the truth, doesn't it? Warren Sapp said (paraphrasing) 'America doesn't like to here Black men speak their mind, especially if they're rich...they (Black Athletes)should just be happy and not say anything and go on about their business'... Now people have a problem with that, but it's the truth. Black athletes have to bite their tounges and smile, because it makes "White America" uncomfortable to hear an agressive Black man (off the field). People complain at the high salaries of these athletes, and lets be honest people don't like seeing Black folk getting paid (Ie; NHL hockey is just now talking about a salary cap). People are upset at the fact Maurice Clarett wants to go pro and others like him, and lets face it people (white people) don't like seeing these Black athletes go pro at a young age, why you ask? Your guess is as good as mine. People go pro in other sports at young ages too, but nobody seems to mind, just as long as you're not a threat to the status quo,... Read more

Warren Sapp is acting like a sap! Where has the defense been when they were really needed? Absent - on the sidelines sucking wind. If Sapp would expend less energy dancing through the opponents warm up drills, bumping into refs, and kicking endzone markers, maybe he would have some energy left for the 4th quarter when the defense needs to make a stop. Get a clue Warren, your skills a waning, you can't afford to run off at the mouth if you can't run in the 4th.

He was always a jerk, but his disruptive plays style and superior skills kept me from disliking him. Well, ol Warren hasn't done a whole heck of a lot the last few years here in Tampa. This guy's attitude has gotten wayyy out of control and now he think's he's above criticism. He purposefully bumped that official last Sunday, let's not mince words about it. Sapp is paid $6.5 million a year to use his natural athleticism to win football games. Sapp has been an athlete all his life and there is no reason at all to believe that he would bump that guy accidently. And if it WAS an accident, why didn't he turn around and apologize? The fine was deserved, but his "slavemaster" comments were not. Nice job Warren. Let's equate your $6.5 MILLION DOLLARS you get for playing a GAME with the plight of people who were routinely beaten and treated like sub-humans. Sapp has also made plenty of inflammatory comments here in toan, and is the kind of guy that's all smiles and wit when the camera is on, b... Read more

Who the hay gives a flip about what Warren Sapp has got to say. He should be thanking Almight GOD everyday that he's got a job at all. "Slave Masters", "Slave System", that big mouth could be working at Hardee's or McDonald's. If that's truly the way he feels why don't he just quit. Wisdom only begins to seep in when we realize how unintelligent we are in the whole scheme of things.

He is one of the worst people alive.....I hope to see him severely injured - not killed - just paralyzed and unable to move....with his only form of external communication being the ability to activate a red light and beeper with two beeps for "yes" and one for "no"....like the original Captain of the Enterprise in the first episode of "Star Trek"......it would be good to see him live a long, long time in this condition......

This guy has been over rated for some time. The last two seasons he has been horrible. Worst of all, he's a racisit. After calling league officials "slave masters", he should be punished and suspended for his comments. Maybe Rush Limbaugh was on to something. Look what happed to Rush for making a comment that simply mentioned color!! Sapp came right out and made a completely racist comment and nobody says a word about it. Who's the racisit?

warren sapp has 74 sacks in 130 career games. that's solid, but his teammate simeon rice is better than him, he has 86 sacks in only 116 games, and that's including the 5 years in arizona where he had no help! even jason taylor has 60 sacks in less than 100 games and a tackles much better too! a great player? not too bad, and since he plays tackle more than end i can respect those are very good numbers, but he should have more tackles then if he was a run stopper. if he wasn't such a jag maybe i would appreciate him more, but he has no respect for the game, couldn't even see if chad clifton, the guy he gave the cheap shot too, was okay. way to go warren. bump another official why don't you. run through a teams warmups like the jag you are. would i want him on my team? probably not, unless he could learn to set his ego aside and be a team man, notice they kept coming up short year after year with him as their leader, when simeon and a few others came in and led the team, he w... Warren Sapp is by far the best defensive tackle in the game. With him drawing all the double teams, and still getting sacks and tackles, it frees up the rest of the D-line to do their magic. Throw in a stout secondary, and you have Sapp as the leader of one of the best defensive lines in history. He could get mad about the double teams, but he knows that it helps his team. That is the mark of a team player. As for his sportsmanship, Warren likes to talk like so many players today do. If it had been a player that confronted Sapp at the end of the Green Bay game, would we have had so much controversy on the verbal altercation?

The only consolation I have after that superbowl is that I will probably out-live that obese loud-mouth of a football player. If he were a team player, if he would respect opposing teams and their coaches, if he played half as well as he talks, then I would give him 5 stars and Tampa Bay would have been the team of the decade.

Good job Warren Sapp!!! Sometimes it't difficult for people to see your true frame of mind, but always remember that there are many more who do. The Tampa Bay Buccuneers and you are in a very special situation now, enjoy and savoy it, for it won't get any better this.Cheers!!!

Sapp's a good football player. His hit was legal but still cheap. He talks way more than he wins. The number one reason is the Philadelphia Eagles. I am sure he'll have a few good games the rest of this year, but that will all end at the Vet after he gets mandhandled by the Birds' O-Line. His season will end, once again, with him wearing a parka and hunkered down on the bench looking cold and miserable as 65,000 Philly faithful celebrate.

I would never do something like this, except everyone who can should send warren sapp emails and call his house and send letters telling him what a jerk he is on the field and off. He sexually abused watress staff this summer at the country club in Tampa, I know as I belong there, he pushed a little kid out of the way trying to get autographs at summer camp, and now his dirty playing on the field with dancing over a player hurt for life...he is a rotten person and dirty player who should be fined and suspended, but the coach encourages it....stupid player

SAPP ROCKS!!! His size, speed, agility make him the most exciting player in the NFL. Love to watch the BIG9's level the QB (about 30 or so sacks), and what about that vertical jump ( How many passes defensed ? 14 or 15 ) GO BUCCS!
